Third Person POV
Sasuke walked around, searching for a dimwit and a, probably, dead female on the grass. He didn't mind, or that's what he wanted to feel, instead of this bond of friendship between the two annoying pests. As he was walking, busy running a hand through his hair in frustration, he nearly tripped. He scowled and was about to kick what tripped him, when he noticed a deeply asleep, almost peaceful, female he knew so well. He sighed.
"How careless." He muttered, nudging her with his foot. In an instant, a kunai was pressed deeply to his throat. His eyes widened as his breath hitched, until he let it out, trying to stay calm. "It's Sasuke, Itami." He informed, getting an apologetic smile from the girl who pocketed her kunai.
"Oh, sorry! My bad." She said, getting a funny look from the usually stoic Uchiha. "What?" She questioned, but was only met with a huff as he turned away from her, hands in his pockets.
"Whatever. Let's just find Naruto." He instructed, getting a nod of agreement, even though she doesn't know what was happening at this time. And plus, she was still tired, having only slept for a few hours. Or minutes. But she turned deadly serious as she looked in a certain direction.
Ai/Itami POV
I glared at where I felt Naruto's chakra nearly drained, but that wasn't what caught my attention. There was someone with him, and I knew this chakra as I memorized it. It was Haku's, and I knew it. I ran in that direction, getting a shocked Sasuke before he ran after me.
Seeing that I was pretty far, I began sprinting faster, leaving Sasuke in a blur. I made a turn, just in time to see Naruto helping Haku with his herbs before Haku stood and walked off. I didn't even look at him, even though I knew he watched me, as I approached the dumbfounded Naruto. He turned to me with surprise.
"The girl isn't a girl! It's a guy!" He yelled, making me sigh but smile nonetheless. Sasuke then caught up and hit Naruto and I both on the head, making me stare at him weirdly. Though, he only scoffed and scolded us. While we walked back, Naruto was contemplating wether to think of Haku as a girl or a guy, and he seriously didn't want to think of him as a guy.
I now thought back to my careless mistake and punished myself by walking into a tree. "Ah! Itami-chan!" Naruto screamed, then looked at Sasuke. "You did this, didn't you? Sasuke-teme!"
Sasuke looked back, annoyed. "I didn't do anything so stop blaming me!"
"No! You pushed Itami into the tree!"
"She did it herself!"
"Yeah right! Don't lie!"
"Shut up, annoying!"
"You're annoying!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"Yes." I but in, making Naruto say the magic words.
"No!"
Sasuke smirked in triumph, not even noticing that I was there. I frowned at that, but smiled and walked with them anyway. "What a bunch of kids."
"Hey!" They both yelled, glaring at me. I smiled at them and walked faster, going up a tree on the way. I smirked as they seemingly pouted. That is, until Sasuke took the chance and ran up, only for his fingers to graze my shoe until he fell. An idea popped into my head as I watched them trying to reach me.
Their new training style.
-
I smiled as they ran at me, reaching the top as they took a good hold of me. I smirked as I fluttered into only slips and reformed, hovering in the air in front of them. "Don't be mad, I did you a favor." I gestured towards the tree and themselves, making Naruto grin and Sasuke smile slightly.
