Valerie's POV:

2 weeks later:

"The beatings started when I got to a rouge pack. They would... Torture me. Silver..." I sigh shakily. "Hailey. They would show me the video of her... Cutting her throat. They would play it every time before they cut into me."

"Why?" Alexander asks. "Why'd he show you the video?"

"Well to make sure I remembered that I'm weak." I tightly close my eyes. "Um... My wolf went MIA after a few days. Filia... She's broken too. She always wanted to come out but... I couldn't let her use her strength. Then she left. I was alone."

"They tortured me like I was just a piece of wood being cut up to put into the fire." I continue. "They put wolfbane in me. They gave me food and water twice a week. And it was always the... Same... Question. Can I mark you? And I would say no everytime...I'm sorry I left... It was to protect everyone. Luna after all... Right?"

I'm pulled out of my dreams when I hear chains rustling. I open my eyes to see Jaiden standing there with gloves on. My breathing is faint, I'm close to death's bed. Scratch that. I'm on death's bed.

"Ready to see your sister again beautiful?" He asks. I shake my head slowly.

"Jaiden please... Please stop." I beg in a whisper. He frowns.

"Will you let me mark you?" I whimper and he nods. "Exactly. Let's go." He picks me up bridal style and takes me to a projector room and sits me down on my usual wood cold chair. He ties me to the chair and I pull.

"God no please!" I beg as the projector starts. My sister shows up on screen and I whimper. "Hails... I'm sorry. Please Jaiden let me out!"

"I'm sorry I came here without a plan." Hailey says. I watch as I shake my head.

"It's Okay baby. I'll find a way to get us out of here." Hailey shakes her head and I jerk in my chair.

"Jaiden stop!" I cry.

"No. There's only one way out." She grabs a piece of sharp knife and cuts her wrist. I watch in horror. Jaiden brought us dinner that day. He left the knife as if he knew...

"Hailey stop!" I cry. She smiles sadly before scooting away from me. "No no no Hails!"

"I love you lollipop." I close my eyes and turn away from the screen.

"No no no." He grabs my face and turns it towards the screen. "You're gonna open your eyes... And watch this. Or I'll double your punishment."

I open my eyes and focus on the screen. Tears stream down my face. Jaiden grabs a gag drenched in wolfbane and gags me. I cry out.

"I'll see you soon." Hailey says. And with that she splits her throat. I scream into the gag and hear my cries in the background of the projection.

It gets harder everytime...I cry harder than before and scream her name. "Hailey please no!" I yell, my voice breaking. Suddenly I pass out.

Alexander's POV:

"She's blocked me out!" I yell. "There's no way she'd do that unless she didn't want me to feel her pain."

"Alpha!" Landon runs in. "We have a location." He sets the map in front of me. "We have reasons to believe that a pack of rouges are here." He points to Death valley creek. "And here." He moves to Bridgefort.

"So what you're saying is... She could be at one of these places..." I sigh in relief. "We need a plan."
