Kyara's pov: I wake up to my mom calling my name. "I'm up" I tell her. I rub the sleep from my eyes and when I have a clear sight, I see that we've finally arrived at the campsite. I get out of the car and smell the fresh woods. A smell I can definitely get used to. I walk to the back of the car to get the luggage from my mom. Then we make our way to the main building while my mom tells me how proud she is of me for taking this opportunity and how much she is going to miss me. I am going to miss her as well but I'm not trying to get homesick and definitely not this early in the experience. When we arrive at the main building my mom almost suffocates me in a hug. And I promise to call every night. Then she leaves. When I walk into the main building I see an empty table where I go and sit, waiting for a camp leader or just someone who's in charge to tell us what to do next and for the rest of the people to arrive. I'm relieved when I see a girl walk through the door. She smiles at me which gives me hope she's nice. She chooses to take a seat at the table I'm sitting at. "Hey I'm Jamilia, Jamilia Styles." "Hey. I'm Kyara Young. Nice to meet you Jamilia!" "Likewise". Jamilia and I have a good conversation and I'm happy that I already know one seemingly nice person on the campsite. We're deep in a conversation about our music taste, when a boy entering the building catches my eye. Brown messy hair, good style, cocky grin. No idea who he is but he looks good. My thoughts get interrupted when the camp leader asks for our attention. She is a young woman, beautiful, graceful. She has a strong voice but still sounds nice. I already respect her. She explains that we will be learning a lot about music and ourselves the next seven weeks. She also explains some groundrules: no smoking, no drinking unless it's at one of the camp events and supervised, no sexual contact, no violence. Pretty self explanatory. She then goes about to tell us where we're sleeping. We're sleeping with two people in a room girls with girls boys with boys. I get a room with Jamilia wich makes me excited because she seems really nice and fun. This will be the best 7 weeks of my life.
Zach's pov: When we get to the campsite I'm just happy I can get out of this car. I part with my parents after a quick and cold goodbye as usual and make my way to the main building with my bags. I walk inside and see that their almost starting great I'm not early I don't want to much attention right now I like to keep a low profile, no asumptions no conversation. I look over the crowd spotting a beautiful girl who kind of reminds me of an angel. She has long brown hair, beautiful smile, bright eyes, perfectly chosen outfit. She is beautiful. My thoughts get interrupted by a woman speaking in the front. She has spotless clothes, perfect combed hair, seems boring already. I just look around to look for people who look like fun when the rooms get devided. I get put in a room with a dudes that look chill. He has the same style as me, seems like good fun. We take our luggage and make our way to our little cabin.
