Fukuda and the german diplomat kept talking while Tine started thinking about what Sarawat was doing, he stood up slowly, he looked at the two guests but since they were too focused on each other it was useless to interrupt them just to tell them that he was going to look for Sarawat so he just left silently.

"Sarawat? Where the hell were you?" Tine said as he found him just outside the dining room

"I went to the toilet, what do you want?"

"I was worried, are you alright now?"

"yes mommy"

"Oh shut up, let's go back inside" Sarawat already opened the door when an employee of the embassy arrived there with a letter

"Yes?"

"There's a letter fo Fukuda san sir" Tine entered and said

"Excuse me Fukuda san, there's a letter for you" Akio stood up and bowed in front of Fischer, he left the room and closed the door behind him. The employee gave him the letter and started explaining

"We received it from the ministry of war sir, they told us that they received a telegram from the army in Korea sir, from the 4th infantry division in Jemulpo and that they immediately sent this"

"Thank you" Akio took the letter and started reading, his eyes widened in horror

The lieutenant Suzuki Ryo has been captured by the Korean resistance, we will sent other messages if we receive more informations.

Fukuda placed an hand on the shoulder of the employee and sighed

"Thank you..."

"So sir, how is the situation in the Reich? I suppose that your war against Russia is going well" Sarawat said smirking, he was bored so he wanted to make fun of his guest who interrupted his dirty dream

"Well... yes sir, the situation on the eastern front is pretty good sir" Fischer replied

"but you couldn't win the war against England right? I remember that just an year ago you were so proud about your success and now you don't even talk about that situation" Sarawat said smirking

"I'm sorry sir,my colleague didn't mean that, we're sure that our allies will win the war, we have no doubts at all, like the Africa..."

"Oh shut up Tine, you know that the situation i Africa is almost even worse, the americans already sent their troops, how are they supposed to win? They didn't even conquered Egypt" Sarawat continued, Tine looked at him, he was angry but when he looked back at their guest he tried to smile luckly Fukuda came back so Tine stood up and grabbed Sarawat's wrist

"Excuse me sir, I don't feel.... well, Sarawat can you come with me?"

"Tine, are you ok?" Fukuda asked

"yes... yes nothing to worry about, probably I just ate too much" Tine replied smiling nervously, he went to the toilet and slapped Sarawat who remained calm as he was before

"What the hell is wrong with you? Why are you acting like an asshole? You know that we need them!"

"Need them? The germans? Why? The japanese is basically doing all the work in the south, why should I worry about what Fischer thinks? they can't switch allies, the war has already started if you didn't notice" Sarawat replied trying to go away but Tine grabbed his hands and forced him to stand against the white wall of the restroom.

Here? Are you sure you can handle it Tine? This is what Sarawat thought feeling the cold wall behind his back and the warm breath on his neck that came from Tine's mouth

"So? be kind! If you don't want to do it for our country at least do it for me?!"

"Why should I do it for you?" Sarawat asked, he knew the he had a reason, a really important reason, he knew that he could do anything for him... but he couldn't tell him that especially in that moment since he was so nervous

"you know what? Do whatever you want, go back to your house but don't mess up this meeting clear?"

Sarawat nodded and left, he went back to his office and took his jacket, then he asked for his car and he went back home that wasn't really far from the embassy.

"Sorry sir, can we continue our lunch?" Tine asked as he sat down but Fukuda and Fischer didn't feel like talking anymore. After an hour Tine reached his office and took his documents and the tickets for the voyage.

In the meanwhile Sarawat prepared his lugguages and placed it in his car. He wanted to stay at home, laying on his bed until the next day and leave just in time to get on board the ship.

It wasn't just Sarawat, Tine was tired too, he wanted to go away, this was the reason why he was so happy when he received the tickets for the first class suite on board.

Tine went back home. His flat wasn't as close to the embassy as Sarawat's house. As he arrived at home he looked outised, it was all so dark and rain started falling from the grey sky.

It was 6 pm when another bombing started, Tine was almost used to it now so he didn't care that much about it, after it finished he prepared his lugguages and called the embassy to chek if there were problems

"it's all ok here sir, but we received an information..."

"What are you talking about? Come on tell me?"

"It's about Sarawat sir"

"Sarawat?! Just talk!" Tine was calm just a second before, now... he was sweating, his eyes were wide and he was looking outside where he saw a fire in the distance

"A bomb hit his house sir..." the employee replied

Tine was shocked and he needed a few minutes to add something

"Sir? are you alright?"

"Yes... thank you... thank you"

Tine continued looking outside, after a while he started crying, Sarawat... died... how could that be? He hoped that it was just a nightmare but it was all so real. It was 5 pm, he made a cup of tea and sat on the armchair near the window trying to forget what happened, it's useless to add that it didn's work.
