You're The Only One (a tododeku story)

Part 28

*Deku pov*

"Midoriya... Deku!"

I was suddenly woken up.

"Midoriya are you okay, you were having a nightmare."

"O-oh, yeah I'm fine, I was having the same nightmare again."

"The one from UA?"

"Yeah..."

"You've been having that same dream for a while now. Maybe you just can't let it go."

"That makes sense."

It had been years since me and Todoroki went to UA high. We graduated together not to long ago. Alot has happened in that period of time. I kept on having the same dream from when we first got there.

I had memories of when I got with Uraraka because I couldn't express my feelings properly. And when we got into a fight with each other. Then it ended with me trying to end everything. But then Todoroki saved me.

He was forced to go to the hospital for awhile. And when he got up is when we officially got into a relationship. I remember going to the hospital, only to have him finally wake up after months later.

"To think so much happened so long ago."

"I know right, so much has changed."

"Yeah, like finding out that Uraraka was the traitor."

"I mean, she wanted to support her family. But I think the LOV took role on her."

"I feel bad that she had to get expelled from UA. But she somewhat deserved it."

I mean, even if alot happened between us, I couldn't help but not forget the good times we use to spent together. Before we got into a relationship.

"You know what else was a surprise. Finding out that you had All Might's quirk."

"I mean, technically you weren't to far off with me being his secret love child."

"You guys didn't try to hide your relationship at all."

"I'm surprised to that more people weren't onto me actually."

"Well, there was Bakugo. You basically told him about everything. If you were allowed to tell him, why couldn't you ever tell me?"

"Well, All Might didn't intend to have us tell Kacchan. It just sorta happened. We didn't really want anybody to find out."

"People were going to find out anyway. What difference would that make."

"I suppose that that's right."

"I mean, you're the number one hero. Somebody else would of had to put the pieces together. Especially by now."

"I more surprised that it was only you and Kacchan who figured everything out. But I mean, I'm still glad that I was able to have one for all. Even with all the consequences."

"Well I mean, if you didn't get one for all. You wouldn't be the number one hero, you still wouldn't have a quirk."

"If I didn't get a quirk you would probably be the number one hero."

"Thanks, that's flattering."

"But you still have a chance. You have part of Endeavor's quirk. Maybe if something happens to me like what happened to All Might. You might move up to number one hero like Endeavor. You are the number two hero."

Todoroki gives me a blank stare.

"Never, compare me, to Endeavor, again."

"Well, your stories might end similarly."

"..."

Todoroki looks at me again before laying back down. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Just go back to sleep."

I gave a brief smile before laying back down next to him.

"You know I'm joking right?"

"I know, you're just trying to mess with me."

I settled back down, and Todoroki as held onto me.

"Goodnight..."

"Goodnight."
