Back home we go

We met back up at the Junes Food Court.

"Yukiko are you alright?" Chie asked. "You're not hurt anywhere are you?"

"No, I'm just a little tired." She said

"Do you remember anything?" I asked

"I'm sorry, but I don't remember anything." She said

"Well no worries. You're safe and that's enough." Chie said

"But, there's no mistake that Yukiko san was, um, attacked the same was as the last victims. And I think the one we saw on the Midnight Channel wasn't the real Yukiko, it was her Shadow. Maybe the things Yukiko san were suppressing in this world took form in the TV?" Yosuke said

"You know, Teddie was saying something like that." Chie said

"Aw, it's no use. I'm just going round and round in circles." He said. "What kind of person could be doing this?"

"Maybe we should call it a day." Yu said

He's right, Yukiko doesn't look too good.

"Yeah, we can go over it some other day." Chie said. "Yukiko really needs to get some rest, I'll take her home."

"Oh that's right, sorry Yukiko san must be exhausted." Yosuke said

Chie took Yukiko home.

"We'll talk about all this some more once she gets her strength back." Yosuke said

Yu and I headed home. We were able to rescue Yukiko safely, but this case's mysteries have deepened even further. For now, we should wait for Yukiko.

Evening.

Nanako, Yu and I were watching TV. The door opened.

"He's home!" Nanako said

Dojima walked in with Adachi. Nanako immediately stood up.

"Um, hello." She said

"Hi there." Adachi said

"We got off work at the same time, so I'm giving him a ride back to his place. I thought we might as well swing by." Dojima said

Is it me, or does Adachi seem, fidgety? Kinda looks like he's pacing on the spot.

"Nice to meet ya. I'm Adachi, the guy who's been your dad's slave since spring." He said

"I can still work you harder you know." Dojima said

"Haha, good one sir! Ha...ha. Oh! I almost forgot! You're friends with Yukiko Amagi, right? They found her safe and sound, tell all you're friends at school." Adachi said

"That's a relief." I said

"Yeah, for us on the force too. But, this doesn't mean the case is closed though. We were just questioning Miss Amagi, but she says she doesn't remember anything that happened while she was missing, and we can't figure out her whereabouts during the missing period either. It's like she really disappeared. It's all pretty fishy if you ask me, like there's something else going on." Adachi said

Dojima whacked him upside the head.

"Ow!"

"Stop blabbering dumbass!" He said

"Sorry."

"Ignore him. He's just spouting some wild fantasy."

"Are you doubting Yukiko?" Yu asked

"Don't worry, the police aren't common hayseeds who believe everything they hear." Dojima said. "He's just muttering to himself, don't take it seriously."

"I'm hungry." Nanako said.

"Hey you're right, my stomachs growling too." Dojima said

"Haha, so you do have a softer side around Nanako Chan, sir." Adachi said

"Shuddup and sit down, and wash those hands first!" Dojima said. "Hm, I should do the same."

Dinner should be interesting for once.
