"So, you knew that guy from College?" Lily asked, glancing towards Pepper. She had to give it to the woman, now she was out of Aldrich's proximity she was her cool, level headed self again and barely flinched at the question.
"No, not quite. A job I had after college, right before I was hired by Stark Industries."
Lily nodded, but when Pepper didn't continue, Lily took it upon herself. "Guess he didn't look like that before?"
"Uh no, not quite. Much... geekier. Big, square glasses, long hair. He uh, had a lot of physical disabilities when he was younger. Guess physical therapy can work wonders... He was tenacious, a little bit obnoxious... Used to quote his father a lot, which was weird at best. Asked me out every other day. It was... a lot."
"Well, good thing he's changed so much, right." Lily huffed, sitting back in her seat as Pepper slowed to a stop on the drive-way, whatever she planned on saying next died on her tongue as she looked out of the windshield.
"Is that a rabbit?"
Lily's head turned, then cocked in confusion, "I think it's a dog... Does it have- are those boobs? Is it a dog with boobs?"
