To Steve Rogers's credibility, Lily did see him soon. Much sooner than she had actually anticipated.
It was an early morning in mid-March, and Lily had managed to drag herself to class with only a few minutes to spare. Pushing through the door a little harder than she anticipated, it hit the wall and swung back, narrowly missing her as she stepped from the doorway, brow wrinkled in confusion. She began to make her way towards the blue-eyed man who had been watching her since her very dramatic entrance, but a deft shake of his stopped her in her tracks, and instead, she sat down on one of the large blue floor mats.
"I can't believe they're here," One of the girls — Lily was certain her name was Melissa — whispered, her eyes roaming up and down the figures of the STRIKE team in front of them, "I knew we'd get a team, but I didn't know we'd get this team."
They weren't wearing their usual gear, so Lily knew they were not here for a mission. Instead, they were wearing standard SHIELD work out clothes and- Oh no.
"Oh don't look so shocked, I'm sure you knew all about it." Lucy scoffed, wrapping her hair up in a high pony.
