"I wanted to scream, I wanted to burst into tears, I wanted to get drunk and kill myself, but all I could do was stare at the wall in silence."

Chuuya comes back from his mission to find that Odasaku died and Dazai left the mafia.

Angst Hopefully.

"Your lying, that dipshit sure goes out of his way for his damn pranks." Chuuya said setting down his hat on his desk and sitting down.

Aktagawa looked down in silence. He hoped Chuuya would note this as a tone of the serious setting.

"He even looped you in too Aktagawa?" The redhead said opening his laptop to start his report on the previous mission.

"Nakahara-san. I'm afraid I am not joking." He paused. "Dazai Osamu has left the Port Mafia."The ravenette looked down his eye dark and his body still.

Chuuya paused. He sat for a few moments in silence, no Dazai popping out to give him a heart attack, no sudden burst of laughter. He grew to understand the situation as his eyes widened with disbelief. He tried to speak, he tried to smile and speak but he sat there eyes wide and mouth glued shut.

After a few moments Aktagawa broke the silence. "We have tried to locate him, the most popular rumor is that he joined The Armed Detective Agency, but our sources still haven't confirmed it. I will leave you to your thoughts ...Nakahara-san. " Aktagawa left the room, a small cough could be heard from the hall as he walked away.

Chuuya sat there in the office all by himself. He should have celebrated this, The bandage wasting freak was gone. He should feel like a weight was lifted off his shoulders, no one would taught him now,now no one would comment about his height or other small insecurities. But that was the problem, no one would be there when he stood in front of a squad of troops or make his attention directed at something other than work. No one to trust when he fell into 'Corruption'. No one would be there and say "You can rest now , Partner." Before he could react any other way a tear fell and stained a paper on his desk. Another fell and another and his breath hitched. He searched his desk for comfort. To see if the brunette had left something, anything. He puled drawer after drawer, rummaging for a answer. Hoping for something to ease the blow to even tease him one last time, to show that this may still be just a prank.

In the end he found nothing and grew more tired and even more helpless.

It soon turned from early evening to dead silent night. The young mafia executive slowly walked out of the building, He located a nearby bar. It was a place that was familiar with him through Dazai, a bar that he hardly visited, but was drug to a couple times by Dazai. He looked at the dim light 'Lupin'.

He walked in and sat in a bar stool ordering a red wine glass. He sat in silence, wondering what he should think of the ordeal. It's true that he cared for Dazai, as any partner should. They have, no they had, a simple yet complex relationship. On the surface they were a strong pair that could take down almost anything just themselves, known as the infamous, Double Black. But on a deeper level there were a bickering pair that spat nonsense at the other with no regards for the others feelings.

He drank the glass and ordered another. He drank and drank. He last remembered any sense at 7 glasses in. He had no idea what the reality of his drinking night. That night he got home in a taxi, taking it to his apartment.

He had sobered up a little by the time he got there but was still dizzy. He went to cabinet in his kitchen and pulled out more wine. He didn't know what he was doing, the only thought in his mind was 'I would rather feeling anything than this.' He drank and drank until yet again he was in a deep drunkenness.
