Soukoku One - Shots

it's a bit tight here pt 1.

"Nakahara-san!" someone from the set called out. 

"Eh? What'sup?" The ginger asked, he was rereading part of a script while people began setting up the scene.

"Your vest...uh it has a tear on the side." Said the male, as he pointed at the fraying fabric at Chuuya's side.  

Chuuya lifted his arms and quickly looked at it."Oh. I didn't realize. I'll go to the costume department and get a back up real quick. Thank you." And with that Chuuya walked out, taking off the vest in the process, he had a nice dress shirt underneath and he checked to see if anything was wrong with it as he walked into the costume room. "Hello? Anyone here?"The ginger asked walking down one of the few rows of costumes. He though the lead costume designer was inhere, but he may have been wrong.

"Chuuya!?" The Brunette popped up behind him, making the small ginger jump. He had only met the lead designer a couple times for the set so he wasn't on a good level with him, so he felt a little awkward when he spoke.

"Oh...um I was wondering if there was a backup for this vest, o-or something else we could use for the scene." Chuuya asked, fumbling with the vest in his hands. 

Dazai glanced at the sweater. "Which scene?" The brunette asked walking out of the row with Chuuya following. 

"O-Oh Scene two, act one." He said looking around the room. Dazai nodded and went down an isle across the room. Chuuya, again, followed the taller male. 

"Same color or do you want a different variation?" Dazai asked.

Chuuya perked back up at the question. "As c-close as possible. Or if your think something would look b-better." Chuuya said. He was usually good with knew people but something about the man in front of him made him nervous. Maybe it was because he was all together while Chuuya wasn't or perhaps it was the height difference. But Chuuya was sure that though all the nervousness he wasn't hating being near the man. 

Dazai took a long look at the ginger, sizing him up and looking over the many details for the ginger. "Are you wearing contacts in the scene?" Dazai asked. Chuuya shook his head and watched as the taller man combed through a variation of colors before coming to a stop at a light blue vest. "Ah!" He pulled it out and put it against Chuuya. "That looks nice. Try this on."

Chuuya's face felt warm at what he thought of as a compliment. He pulled on the sweater vest and fitted in onto his small frame. He too a couple steps and turned his head to see if it looked nice. He looked into a larger mirror near the door and turned at a couple angles. His eyes light up as he saw how the color looked. It was the same style as the last one, but the color made a huge difference. "Wow, It looks great. Thank you!" He seemed excited over the small difference. 

"Well I am the lead costume designer after all." He said waving his hand in the air near his face while turned away. "Besides you need to get back to the set. We can't have the lead role missing now can we?" Dazai said as he opened the door. Chuuya walked out thanking him. "See ya around, Partner." Dazai said closing the door.

Chuuya waked back on set thinking of the brunette and how the atmosphere felt. The ginger's face flushed red at the though of the brunette. He smiled to himself as he walked. Once he got back, they put light makeup on him and they started the set, soon finishing up for the day. Chuuya went home and showered and slept and get ready for the day ahead. 

Once arriving on set for the next day, he was prepared to talk to the brunette again. He got his script and prepared for the day drinking a coffee and headed for the costume department. Today was a turning point in the film, so a lot was going up, little things being put up for different sets and many actors and actresses walking around and getting ready. There was already a set on film when he got there. He headed to the crowded Costume department. He looked in too see Dazai rushing around, along with his assistant Atsushi. Chuuya waited for a few so that things would die down. He may not have the chance to talk o him right now. 

After a bit he walked in, there was another actor getting his costume together when Chuuya entered. "Um, can I get dressed for my set?" The ginger asked sheepishly. 

"Oh Chuuya. What scene are you getting ready for right now?" Dazai asked, you could tell how busy it was in his voice. 

"Scene three, act four" He said looking strait at the brunette. 

"Okay,coming right up." He went in the back of a row and grabbed an already organized set of clothes for the short actor. "Here you go." Dazai said as he practically shoved Chuuya in an empty changing room. Chuuya came out with the outfit which consisted of a white dress shirt tucked into tight black jeans than ripped near the knees, he had a black choker on and a pair of glasses with no lens. He though he looked quite nice in the outfit. even though he would change into a tattered form of the clothes, as to go along with the movie. But this outfit had to be perfect as right now was the climax of the movie and they needed to look perfect. 

Dazai looked over at Chuuya and saw that he was missing something. He grabbed a black hat with a maroon ribbon and placed it on the gingers head. "Perfect." Dazai said shoving out the ginger and making way for more actors. 

Chuuya walked back on set with his outfit. There was still some time before the filming for this scene would happen, so he walked around and tried to help with what he could. Including coffee. He tried helping one of the film crew members by passing around some coffee cups. In doing this he had accidentally spilled coffee on his costume. Great. But it did give him to speak with the lead costume designer once again.

Sorry this is another two-parter. I already had a lot and There wasn't any way this was going to end soon. Sorry for any inconvenience.  On a side note, have you guys heard of the new BEAST chapter. I've been dying all day thinking about it. I can't wait till a translation comes out.
