Chapter 17

I ran to the football field only to find art and Tyler in front of eachother and they were ready to do more than death glares .
As I approach Tyler was talking.

"Don't you dare talk about her like that in front of me"

"She's with me now , I can call her my girlfriend whenever the fuck I want" art says taking a step forward.

" she won't be yours , not for long " Tyler says challengingly.

"Believe me it will be amusing if you try and do anything " art says calmly clenching his fists.

Before art can react The captain of the football team gets in between them and I take a step back, they get away from eachother and Tyler leaves and goes to to the school building.
And I go after him.

"Tyler wait up"
He turns around and waits for me .

"What happened back there?"

"You're In a relationship with him?"

"Yeah we started yesterday , and I was going to tell you when I see you-" I say.

"Why are you doing this ! " He shouts interrupting me.

And I unintentionally took a step away from him.
He realizes my reaction and sighed and says " Bella I'm sorry "

"What's wrong with you? " I say trying to understand where is this coming from.

" He's not the one for you , and I'll prove it" he says calmly and leaves me standing alone .

I walk back completely confused.
I find art and Lilly standing by the bleachers.

"Bella what happened with tyler?" Lilly asks

"I don't know but he's acting weird lilly can you talk to him? " I say sadly.

"Yeah sure " she says and went to find him.

"Hey are you okay?" I ask art .

"Yeah "
We stood in front of eachother and I went to hug him .

He hugs me back and says " Are you okay? Did he do something to you?" Art says concerned.

"No no he didn't , I guess he still didn't accept the fact that we're together " I say.

"No , Any guy can see that he likes you"
I pull away and chuckle "What no , Tyler is just hung up on bailey , he's just under the weather these days " I say.

"Okay "

"You don't have to worry " I say.

"I'm not worried , I trust you but it took all of me not to just punch him in the face" he says and then curses when he finds me surprised by what he said .

"Since when do you consider violence " I say.

"I don't  " he says , I look at him waiting for him to explain.

I never did expect art to have secrets , I concluded that he doesn't like people knowing about his private life, but I didn't expect that he'll be hiding things , but I once heard about a fight between him and jake one of Tyler's friends when we were in grade 10 I think, it was big but it was only one fight . I heard a lot of rumors about what happened , some were how they both kept fighting non stop and some were Art was supposed to get suspended for 2 weeks but didn't ,but all of them agreed on one thing that jake was beaten up so badly that he ended up in the hospital.

"Okay" I say.
But I knew that he'd tell me when he's ready to.

"Go now I don't want you to be late for the next lesson " I say.
