Choosing A New Leader

As everyone returned to the barn , they started to worry because without the leader , who's gonna protect them.

Tugger- What do we do now ? Who's gonna protect us from the criminals ?

As everyone speaks loudly and distinctively , Hank tries to get their attention.

Hank- Order ! Order ! Am I bothering y'all ? Let's get this meeting started !

Mushu- Hey , Hank. Who's gonna run the meeting ?

Hank- That's what the meeting's about.

Tails- ( Freaking out ) So , the meeting's about finding someone to run the meeting ?! Is that a good idea ?!

Manic- We should take a meeting about it.

Hank- Someone has to do this . We don't have Chuck. Therefore , I like to nominate myself.

Everyone started to complain and chuckle as if it's some stupid joke.

Hank- Dogs are--Listen to me. Dogs are watchful , they're loyal ( Proudly ) And very protective.

Manic- And they lick themselves.  I don't want a leader who licks himself.

Mushu- Me neither.

Hank- I don't do that... Anymore. One time , I was bored and lonely and a bit of snack-ish.

Big Mac- Eeyup and I saw you drink out of the toilet once. Hey ! ( Sing song ) You drink potty water !

Big Mac , Mushu , Tails- ( Sing song ) You drink potty water !

Their mockery earned giggles and laughter throughout the barn , humiliating the blue and white dog.

Hank- My bowl was empty , my friends ! Come on , we're getting off track here !

Then someone cleared their throat. Everyone turns to see Knuckles leaning against a wooden beam across from Hank.

Knuckle- Hank , with all due respect , I think there are certain traits would make you unqualified to be a leader.

Hank scoffs in disbelief and crosses his arms as he narrows his eyes at the red echidna.

Hank- Yeah. Such as ?

Knuckles simply takes out a ball and throws it to the other side of the room. Hank barks happily and promptly runs after the ball , grabs it , and gives it to Knuckles before he glares incredulously at Knuckles , proving his point.

Hank- Your point ? ( To everyone else ) Hey , come on , I do it for fun ! That's what dogs do , come on !

Knuckles throws the ball again in the same direction. Hank just rolls his eyes before he looks at the ball. Feeling the urge to retrieve the ball. He no longer resists and barks before he grabs it and returns it to Knuckles.

Hank- ( To everyone ) So , big deal ! I--I fetch wool. One little flaw !

Then , Knuckles takes out an open jar of peanut butter , and scoops some with a spoon and offers some to Hank , who happily complies and eats it like a joyous puppy. But he gradually turns bored as he chews on it. Thus , proving Knuckles' point even further.

Hank- This. Doesn't. Mean... Anything.

Hank walks off , leaving the smirking Knuckles.

Hank- Alright , alright ! Let's take a vote ! Come in , let's take a vote here ! All those who favour of me being the new leader ?

Then a few signs were promptly raised up to reveal the doberman dogs with their signs saying " Vote 4 Hank " " We luv u , Hank " The two dobermans growl threateningly at Toulouse , who , out of fear , raises another Hank sign up. Hank pouts as no one else voted for him.

Hank- Those oppose ?

Everyone raise their hand up with no hesitation.Knuckles walks up to Hank's side.

Knuckles- Listen now , listen up. You all know that Chuck intended for Sonic to take his place.

Happy that his friend is now the new leader , Big Mac jumps on the stage and pushes Hank out of the way.

Big Mac- ( Smiles ) Alright , Sonic is in charge ! I second that motion. Sweet !

Everyone then started to cheer in happiness as they found a new leader to follow. Knuckles watched them and smirks as he shakes his head.

Knuckles- Mm , mm , mm. Here we go.
