Sid : What is this maa ?? What the hell is this ? I have to marry a girl that I don't even know ? I can't believe it maa ! I feel like I'm in middle of some bollywood film..aur aaj kal film mai bhi yeh sab nahi hota..!!
He just couldn't believe that his dad would make such a last wish in this 20th century! It came like a bolt out of a blue to him.He was trying to figure out what exactly happening
Sid : Maaa ?
Maa: haan beta tension mat lo ... I'm helpless here..You know your dad henna.? Wo apna decision nahi badlega
Sid: that's not fair maa..this is my life ! And I don't wanna get married right now. I've lot to do...I just can't believe that dad is trying to make me do that shit !
Maa: Relax hoja Sid . I understand that you guys don't like these types of arranged marriages but even your dad and I got married like that ... but hum kithna kush the ! Neetu ,Preeti aur tum....we were so happy with our life
Sid: maa that time was different and I cannot believe that you are supporting dad's decision. I..I just cannot get married! That's final ! I'll talk to dad right now
Sidharth was so frustrated upon the decision of his dad and right away he went into his dad's room . There was a nurse next to his dad checking on him and he dad tried to move forward his head seeing him . Sidharth rushed towards him and held his weak hand. The anger inside him slowly vanished upon seeing his condition.
"Dad ...." said Sidharth in a sympathetic tone looking at his dad
He nodded and signaled him to come closer . He kept his hand on Sid's palm and rubbed it lovingly . His eyes were teary and it made Sid emotional...Dad tried to talk with much difficulty
Dad: ple..please beta..mera ak..akhri wish poori karna . I..I'm sure you will d...do it
Sid: I was going to talk about it dada...mai..main wo nahi kar...
He couldn't complete his sentence as his dad started coughing and his mom and nurse came running towards them . Nurse adjusted the nasogastric tube and Sid's dad calmed down making everyone feel relived. His mom was joing hands and praying and Sidharth was just numb seeing all these things. He looked at his dad who was holding his hand tightly . He was trying to talk again
"Mai.. theek hu..wo mera ...bohoth achcha friend hai beta..wo mere liye... bohoth ..kuch kiya hai..and I wanna see both of y..you getting mar..married...mera paas zyada... wakt bhi na..nahi hai..maxi..mum I've just ..four ..weeks to live ..promise kar tu wo..." He couldn't say further more and started coughing again
Sid's mom was patting his shoulder and looked at Sidharth who was just standing like a statue there . He wasn't even blinking. He couldn't think of anything. His dad's words were echoing in his ears . Suddenly he felt a warmath in his hand and he looked down . It was his mom .
"Mere saath aao.." said his mom and both of them left the room and she made Sid sit on the couch
"I know this is difficult but please beta..listen to your dad ... nothing will go wrong... and I saw a photo of the girl ! She's so beautiful and looks so pleasing...you will like her..what was her name... ah... Shehnaaz ! " said his mom and kissed his forehead. She was emotional. She knew that may be it's not the right decision but she was a wife first ....
"Shehnaaz ....seems familiar..." Sidharth thought. He felt that name was familiar... he was sure that he have at least heard it somewhere

In other hand , it was midnight in Uk and Shehnaaz was surprised as his dad called her in the middle of the night to his room . When she entered the room her mom and dad had serious moods and they were sitting in the bed . Her dad signaled her to come and sit with them. She quickly rushed towards them and sat in the middle of her mom aand dad, side hugging them.
"Kya bhaat karni thi papa..ki gal hai ? " she asked confusingly looking at her dad
Dad : We got a proposal for you..a marriage proposal
Sana: Kyaa !? Proposal!
She just jumped out of the bed hearing about it. She was shocked to the core
Dad : mera gal toh sun Sana !
Sana : mujhe . kuch. bhi. nahi .sunna .hai . I'm going to sleep . Just reject the f**king proposal
She was angry as she never wanted an arranged marriage. She always wanted to have a good love life and then get married when she feels like getting married . Her dad spoke up without letting her go
Dad : hum aisa nahi kar sakta. That's my best friend's last wish ! You know my best friend Shukla right ? This is his son..Sidharth Shukla!
Shehnaaz startled hearing the name ! She was dumbfounded and totally blank
"Wha...What? What is it again ? Sid..Sidharth? SIDHARTH SHUKLA ? "
It was difficult for her to find words to speak up. She was literally shivering and her mom quickly got up and held her shivering hand. Her parents couldn't understand the reason for her behavior . They were just looking surprised
"Haan..haan.. Sidharth Shukla! Do you know him ? " Dad asked curiously
But shehnaaz wasn't replying.. she just got lost in her thoughts
"How can I not know him papa.. He is the CRUSH OF MY LIFE! It's been 3 whole years since I've started loving him... I still can remember what he had worn in the first day of the college... a denim trouser and a black t-shirt with a blue coloured jacket .. that handsome boy ...uff.. sabhi ladkiya uske peeche pagal thi.. he was the first boy in the college who did not look at me twice..to everyone's surprise he was not at all interested in me... that's when I noticed him..from that day I've been just staring at him in lectures and even in practical sessions .. he was the reason that I never skipped any lectures..but I could never muster courage to talk with him ! And wair whatttt ! I'M GETTING A PROPOSAL FROM HIM ??"
"SANA ! SANAAA ! Where are you lost ? We've been trying to talk to you over a minute! " Her dad was moving his hand to make her speak
Sana : "Haan ... haa..nahi mai toh bas...
Dad: Do you know him ?
Sana : Mmm..we are college mates pa..papa
Mom: kya bhaat kar rahe ho ? ! !
Dad : Yeh hui na bhat ! Toh rishta pakka samjhu ?
Sana: haa..matlab nahi...I mean haan..
She couldn't believe what was happening with her. She was shocked but at the same time surprised. She was foing through a mixed feeling. Her mom and dad hugged her at once and they were so happy as they didn't need much convincing . But little did they know that their daughter loves him so much
"I'm so happy beta ... I'm so happy that I could fulfill Ashok's last wish and at the same time we didn't need to force you ! " Her dad kissed her forehead with much love
Shehnaaz was just hugging them without uttering a word. That talkative girl couldn't find words when it came to her love
"Mai abhi ke abhi call karunga usko " Sana's dad was over whelming with happiness and he dialed Sid's mom's number

Sidharth mom received the call and was happy hearing the news . She was happier hearing that they'll be coming to India day after the following day to finalize the dates . But at the same time she was scared remembering that Sid is not still sure about the marriage
They didn't know what destiny had planned for them...
