I'm scared. The thing in front of me is trying to eat me. It's eyes glowing crimson red and teeth baring.
Vampire.
That was the first word that popped up in my head. I don't know what to do. "Somebody help me," I whisper in a childish voice.
"Vampires like you," a soft voice said, "are a disgrace to our kind." The scary monster was now bleeding. I screeched. It fell dead before me and turned into dust, floating away with the snow and wind.
"Hello, (Y/N)." The voice said to me. I turned to see a boy staring at me with copper red eyes, short dark brown hair, and blood staining his shirt. "There is no need to be afraid anymore. My name is Kaname."
Suddenly I run over to him on my short legs and start crying. I hug him and he runs his hand through my hair. "Thank you for saving me from that creature," I said, "Kaname."
I nuzzle my head against his chest. "Kaname,I'm cold." He grabbed my hand and we started walking. "Let's find shelter and warm you up. You could freeze to death. I promise you (Y/N), I won't ever let anyone hurt you again."
