Thea had finished eating her breakfast and was heading back outside when she was greeted by her sister, Hope.

"Hey. I wondered if I could talk with you a bit," Hope asked, looking uncertain.

Thea smiled at her half-sister, "I'd love to get to know my new sister," she replied.

Hope smiled and the two walked around the town instead.

"So where did you grow up?" Hope asks.

"I grew up on Long Island. I did have to travel a lot. Like I've mentioned to our father, I had a lot of issues to deal with before I could find him. Almost none of them actually stayed in the states," Thea replied.

"Where have you been?" Hope asks next, rather curious about her sister's life.

"I've been to Athens, Greece, Rome, Alaska, Hollywood, Croatia, Egypt, England, Russia, Italy, Norway, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, and Spain. There was also a brief stint with the United Kingdom," Thea answered.

"Wow. I've only been in the US. You'll have to show me sometime, maybe we can convince our dad to bring us to some of the places you've gone," Hope says.

"It would depend on where you want to go, there are some places I have been banned from returning to," Thea said, an amused smirk on her face.

"How do you get banned from entering a continent?" Hope asks shock, confusion, and curiosity showing on her face.

"It isn't as hard as you'd think. However, I can always cast some spell or compel people to leave me alone and not even notice me. Still, it was really funny when the Mexican government told me and my friends to leave and to never return, as did the United Kingdom, Norway, Portugal, and Spain. Everywhere else is still okay with me," Thea answered.

They walked in silence for a while before Thea spoke again, "What about you?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" Hope asked.

"What was your childhood like?" Thea asked.

"Um, well, I was haunted/possessed by this spirit that wanted to do something that I can't remember. It led to everyone splitting up. I wanted to see my dad again anyway, and so I hid my mom. It ended up leading to her death, and the spirit being banished. Only my mother, a hybrid I turned, a witch, and the kid the witch raised died. We've been together since that," Hope answered.

"Sounds interesting. I was wondering where your mother was at," Thea said.

"Yeah, I screwed up and she paid the price," Hope said with a resigned sigh.

"One thing I learned in my life is that you can't save everyone. Even if you inadvertently cause someone's death, you can't save everyone. It's like a war, there is always death in a war, nothing can stop that, no one can stop that. What you have to remember is what you gained by their death. While you lost your mother, you got your father and his family back together. Plus, your mother did get to raise you a bit. So, you have memories of her, therefore, she isn't truly gone," Thea explained, sensing that her sister was still a bit torn by this.

Hope gave Thea a look, "You sound experienced," she pointed out, "But, thank you," she added.

"You're welcome, Hope," Thea replied, "And yes, I am experienced. I have seen many of my friends die around me, some I have had to kill. That is never a good feeling, but it happens. Especially the ones you think can be avoided, but weren't. If they were avoidable, they wouldn't have happened," Thea added.

With a small sigh, the two started to head back to their home.

"Oh, I had a question that I wanted to ask," Hope spoke up when they were almost home.
