Loriana's POV

"Excuse me?" I asked, looking at Rodney like as if he had two head. I know he didn't just say what he just said.

"I know you heard me Lori. I'm still in love with you. I never stopped loving you, I just loved you enough to let you go." He said. He tried to reach for my hand but I moved it away and placed it on my baby bump.

"Rodney you can't just say stuff like this to me. I'm married and I'm pregnant. I've moved on and I thought that you did as well. I don't know where all of this is coming from."

This is a lot to take in. I have one crazy guy trying to kidnap me, and then I have my ex-boyfriend professing his undying love for me while my husband is downstairs. I can't even wrap my mind around this and Rodney better tread lightly because Dre is crazy and won't go for this.

"Married?" He asked with a straight face. Of course he doesn't know because there was no wedding and I only told close family and friends.

"Yes, married," I said and showed him my ring. "I can't do this with you right now. Y'all have this whole thing to figure out and that's that." I shook my head. I tried to walk away but he grabbed my arm, stopping me. I turned to face him and that's when I heard Dre's voice.

"If you like your life, you'll take your hands off of her." He said calmly, stepping in front of me. I sighed and looked down at the floor.

"Just think about it Loriana." Rodney said before going downstairs.

Once he left, Dre turned to me and looked me up down as if to see if I was okay. I could tell he was upset that Rodney was speaking to me alone and that's why he came up from the den.

"What you need to think about?" He asked me.

"Nothing baby. I'm about to go home." I said, ready to walk away.

"You can't mama." He said. I frowned and folded my arms across my chest.

"What do you mean? If it's because we came here together, I'll just ask one of my cousins to take me." I said.

"Nah, Loriana we're about to go handle this shit so you can't leave this house...none of y'all can. It's too dangerous right now and we don't know what this Terrence dude is capable of or what he has in store. You're safest here." He said then kissed my forehead.

I won't bother to argue because this is a fight I won't win and I do understand what he's saying. It's better to be safe and sorry, and at least I won't be alone while here. I just have many questions when it comes to this situation. How did he discover me? How did Ashton's mom get involved with him? Why does he want me so bad, how is he benefiting?

"Dre you know I hate all of this. Please be safe, I need you...our baby needs you. I don't need anything happening to you, so please." I begged him. He nodded and pulled me into his arms. I closed my eyes and just savored the moment.

Everyone that was downstairs in the den began to come up the stairs and Dre let go of me. I looked at all of them with concern before looking away. I don't know how my mom and aunts used to deal with all of this when things were a bit crazier. They'd tell me stories from time to time and they sound crazy to me. I can't deal with stuff like this, I definitely wasn't built for that lifestyle.

Dre followed them out of the area and towards my grandfathers office. His office is big enough to have all of them inside so they soon disappeared from my view. I made my way back into the kitchen and all the women turned to look at me.

"So..." Tammy said, waiting for me to spill the tea.

"Apparently, this man named Terrence is trying to kidnap me for whatever reason," I said energy gasps from them. "And Rodney works for him. He was assigned to kidnap me and bring me to this Terrence dude and I guess he just couldn't bring himself to it. Asia is this Terrence guys girlfriend and she abandoned Ashton in order to go live with him. Oh, and Ja's ex-girlfriend, Ciara, is Terrence's little sister and she's not pregnant." I said. I just gave them a lot of information so they registered it for a minute in order to gather their thoughts.
