I layed my phone on my bed after scrolling down instagram for like a hour and I sighed. I miss my friends back home. '''DONUT DELIVERY ARRIVED.'' Lex yelled.
I jumped from my bed into the floor and I took a run downstairs. Lex opened the box and I grabbed a pink donut. I took a big bite. ''Thank you.'' I said with a mouth full. Sam also took one. Lex shook his head and laughed. I shook my shoulders and I walked away to my room.
That night we had dinner at a restaurant in London with our family, except Lex, he was out with a girl. We made our order and I checked my phone. I clicked on Instagram and saw a new post from Lando.

After we ate our dinner and sat at the table for like two hours and it was now around eight so we were ready to go home. I grabbed my jacket and my purse. We walked through the restaurant to pay when I noticed a familiar boy. I looked closer and I see Lando sitting at a table with three other people, a boy and two girls. Looks like a double date. I gave him a closed lipped smile and I walked behind my family to leave. I'm not sure if he noticed me.
