Olivia's POV
"Oh, you two are good together," sabi ng isang bisita an nilapitan namin ni Flare.

Nginitian ng matamis ang bisita kahit man labag sa kalooban ko. Nilagay ko ang aking ulo sa balikat ni Flare. "Actually, we're engaged," I lied.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ng bisita. "Really?" gulat na sabi ng bisita.

"Ye--"

"I supposed your eyes are probably blind, Mrs. Carter," pagsingit ni Flare. Tinanggal niya ang aking braso na nakapalupot sa kanyang braso. "We're not engaged. Actually, I have a girlfriend. My real girlfriend. Would you like to meet her later?"

I looked shocked by what he did, especially the guest that we're busy talking. "Ahm... Nagtatampo lang siguro ang baby ko," nerbyos kong sabi sa bisita at tumingin kay Flare. "Right, baby?"

Tiningnan niya ako at napabuntong-hininga bago tumingin sa bisita. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience and awkward talk, Mrs. Carter, but I think that you should not believe what this woman said. What she said was a lie and I have a proof that I have a girlfriend and she's with me, here in the event, as My Lady. Have a good night, Mrs. Carter." He smirked, bowed to the guest before leaving me and the guest.

Napatingin ako sa guest at tipid na ngumiti. "Sorry. Matampuhin lang po talaga siya. Bye," sabi ko bago ako umalis dahil as kahihiyan. Sinundan ko si Flare at nang masundan ko siya, hinawakan ko siya sa braso upang tumingin siya sa akin. "Pinahiya mo ako doon."

He shrugged his shoulders. "Well, you deserved it anyway."

"Alam mo namang joke lang 'yon, 'di ba? Why can't you ride my joke?"

"Because it is not funny," sabi niya. "Don't tell other guests that I'm your boyfriend or we're engaged because I'm not really yours. We're not even in a relationship. Lying and manipulating other people isn't funny, woman."

"Ilang beses ko bang sasabihin sa'yo na ang pangalan ko nga ay si Olivia, ha?"

"Even though you're really my childhood friend, you're long gone in my life. I moved on. So leave me alone, woman," sabi niya bago ako iniwan.

My eyes turned into slits as I am watching Flare walk away from me. This isn't what I planned to do. Tsk... He is really high over heels in love with that Mavis. 

"You looked like a red tomato standing in the middle of tables, My Lady." Naptingin ako sa aking likuran at nakita ko ang mukha ng aking pinakamamahal na assistant. He smiled at me and held my hand before kissing the back of it. 

Suddenly, my anger faded away just by his simple gesture. I felt those weird feeling in my stomach again. Kaagad kong inagaw ang kamay ko sa kanya. 

"H-Hindi ako mag-isa 'no. I'm with Flare," sabi ko sa kanya.

"My Lady, huwag mo na kasing itanggi. You are now alone. Sir Zeus leaves you. He doesn't want you dahil talagang ganoon niya kamahal si Mavis. Hayaan mo na," he said.

"Kung ikaw kaya mong tiisin ang makita mo si Mavis na masaya sa piling ng iba, pwes ako hindi. I'm not like you, Ruxinaire. You're the blind one here," sabi ko sa kanya.

Natawa siya sa sinabi ko at inakbayan ako. "Alam mo, My Lady, sometimes you need to just let go of someone you love if it means they're gonna be happy in the future. And you need to be warm sometimes para 'di ka nila mahalata. Hindi 'yong start to attack ka agad-agad. Natatalo ka tuloy eh."

"Wala kang pakialam sa plano ko, Ruxinaire," sabi ko at tinanggal ang kanyang braso sa balikat ko. "And don't touch me. Did I give you consent na puwede mo akong akbayan ng basta-basta lang, hmm?"
