Never Have I Ever

Jazmine sprung out of bed, excited for the day. It has been so long since she had hosted a BBQ and she was glad her parents allowed her to host one such last minute. She still had that 'Daddy's girl' charm so there was no way Tom could say no to her, all Cori could do was shake her head and help Jazmine make a list of everything they would need.

"Jazmine! You up?" She heard her dad call from downstairs.

She walked over the door and opened it so he could hear her better. "Ok! Tyler are going to pick up a few things for the BBQ!"

"Alright, thank you!" Jazmine shouted back. She decided it was time to get clean so quickly went and grabbed her pink towel before skipping to the bathroom with her phone and speaker in hand. After selecting the right playlist, she jumped into the hot, steamy shower to wash the dirt from her skin. She hummed along to the songs as she thought about how fun the day was going to be.

After about 20 minutes, she walked back into her room to get dressed. As soon as she sat down on her bed, her phone rang so she reached over and answered it.

"Heyyy." Jazmine grinned as she looked at the person who called her in the middle of her getting ready.

"Watchu doing?"

"You can't see I'm still in my towel? I just got out the shower silly." She giggled as she slightly tilted the camera so they could see her current state.

"Teasing me isn't a good thing Jazmine."

"You know I love doing it to your Huey."

Jazmine watched Huey sit up in bed and heard him sigh. It was currently 10am and everyone wasn't coming until 12pm (if you're going by black people time then 1pm) but she knew Huey was up from at least 8am to do his morning work out.

"You never have this energy when I see you in real life." He smirked at her.

Jazmine dramatically gasped and placed a hand on her chest. "How dare you accuse me of such lies Freeman?"

"Its not a lie if I'm telling the truth. Isn't that right baby?"

'There he go again with the baby.' She mentally groaned. Jazmine was about ready to rip of the towel and show him all her goodies.

"Playing a dangerous game here..." Was all she managed to come up with. She was already starting to feel warm.

The smirk on his face only got bigger. "You know I like danger Jazmine."

'Ok, that's it!' Jazmine shouted mentally. Just as she grabbed the side of the towel that was tucked in, her door swung open.

"Jazzzzyyy!" The two year old giggled as she ran into her big sisters room with her arms stretched open.

Jazmine gasped and made sure her towel was secure before pulling the child into her lap. "Hey TJ! You ok?" Jazmine asked. She was the only person that could match her energy and no one understood how.

"Yeesss. We have party!" TJ grinned.

Jazmine nodded proudly at how well her sister said the sentence. "Yes we are having a party today." That's when she remembered she was on face time with Huey. Jazmine pulled the toddlers attention to the phone. "Who's that TJ?"

"Whoy!" She clapped her hands in happiness as she did her best to pronounce his name, a trait Jazmine still did time to time.

"Yes TJ, its Huey!"

"Hi Whoy!" She waved at him.

Huey slightly waved back. "Hello TJ."

"You commin, uh, party?" She asked.
