"Idiot"

after the guys announced they were adopting we went out to dinner to olive garden.

i got cheese ravioli and a peach tea , Connor got chicken alfredo , and joey and kyle got chicken Parmesan .

"oooh my goooooddd" I groans with a mouth full of food

"whats wrong?" Kyle asked

"its soooo gooood " they laughed at me "i call dibsies on the breadsticks when we get home "

"awe no fair . you always get them !" kyle whined

"call dibsies next time" i shrugged

"why do you get all the bread sticks"

"im cuter than you duh"

"shes got a point" Connor agreed

"Connor. you only say that because you like her"

"of course " he kissed my cheek

"you're not getting any " I said

"kyle should get the bread sticks"he changed his mind

my mouth fell open "rude"

"close your mouth honey you'll catch flies" he said closing my mouth

"you know I think I'm done. kyle have the bread sticks. I'm going to check on wolf"

Maddy got up roughly , threw her napkin cloth on the table and left . We all looked at each other because wolf was with Megen .

She does share. But who ever calls dibsies gets an extra.

"I feel bad"Connor sighed

"she's fine.. im gonna go find her " i got up and went to look for her. I found baddy out back with the fountain "hey boo" I came up behind her "you okay?"
she chuckled a bit

"yea Kyle I'm just dandy. "

"wanna talk about it?"

"did you see how fast he changed his mind? of course I was going to share with him. I share everything him. I was even going to give him the extra bread stick. but he just 'kyle should get the bread sticks' he should've known I was going to share."

"Mae" I put my hand on her knee.

"only called me cute because he wanted the other one then turns around and totally ignores the fact he said . like he didn't mean it. "

"I know he thinks you're cute. hell you're beautiful."

"and he feels really bad" Connor came out

"how long were you there?" she asked . Connor walked over and hugged her. Soon Maddy hugged back.

**ONE WEEK LATER **

MADDY POV

i heard talking in the kitchen but it was hushed . i decided to be ninja and evesdrop . It was kyle and Connor

"oh my god I knew it! I'm gonna go tell her"

"no you can't tell her. I dont want her to know. this will be the only secret i keep from her. and its to stay between me and you"

"but she'll be thrilled!"

"I'm not ready for her to know."

what are they talking about?

"okay fine. "

"you can't tell joey yet either. he'll tell her for sure. "

"okay I won't tell anyone"

I walked in after that , strarching so it looks lie I wasn't there and i just woke up from my nap

"Hey boo"kyle said

"where's the nutella?" i asked getting my big spoon out

"in the pantry where it always is"

"kyle you busy?" i asked him

"I'm about to leave. taking wolf to the vet. he's limping "

"awe poor baby. i said sad "Connor let's go get pumpkin spice lattes "

"Yes!!" he cheered and went to get the keys . i was still in sweat pants, an over sized hoodie, my hair was still in a messy bun and I had on my bunny slipper boots "where are my glasses kyle? " I asked as he was heading out the door.

"on top of the fridge" he smirked and left

i groaned and climbed the counters. I'm only 5'2. i havent grown since 7th grade and im 19 . I grabbed my glasses and went to get down but i tripped . I squeaked but I didnt hit the ground

"i got cha" Connor said

i smiled "you're a life saver"i laughed "literally"

he set me down"ready?"

"STARBIES!!!!" i yelled

"you watch too much Damon fizzy " he chucled as we walked out the door.

we got back with our coffee.

"i still can't believe you went in there eating you nutella " he laughed

"peoples faces though!!" i flopped on the couch

he laughed some more and sat next to me "So. Maddy. i domt know anything about your past"

"you don't want too"i assured him

"sure i do. tell me about it" he smiled

"it wasn't good. that's all I want to say"

"please. i thought we dont keep secrets from each other "
"then whats the secret between you and kyle?"I changed the subject

"we dont have a secret"

"i thought we went going to lie to eachother either"

"I'm not lying"

"there's two. be careful your on a thin line "

"fine . we do. but i can't tell you. i physically can't tell you"

"wow I see where i stand. "

"seriously? tell me about your past! Quit being so stubborn!!"

"tell me the damn secret between you and kyle!! ugh you know what? you're such an idiot!! you don't get it JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!"

"FINE!! he yelled and I stormmed up to my room and I heard the front door slamm shut. I put on some music and flopped on my bed uugh!!

"I'm sorry. You are so beautiful .. I didn't mean for it to come out as taking back what i said . I'm sorry"

"its okay . "she Nuzzled her head in connors neck

"good " He smiled

we all went back in and the bread sticks were gone and the check was payed . Maddy ran to the car just as joey was eating a bread stick

"YOU JERK THAT WAS MINE I CALLED DIBSIES THATS NOT FAIR. I WAS GONNA SHARE BUT THE EXTRA WAS MI-"

joey cut her off by holding up another bag

"I LOVE YOU!!!" she hugged him

"whoa . Back off girl he's mine" i said . Maddy laughex and got in the back and joey followed . All the way home the two were eating and laughing and Connor ended up carrying mae inside.
