Drawing of Colin Potter, age 11.

Drawing, once again, by my good friend Shadowhuntersdeath.

Harry got off the train with his new friends, leaving their bags on the train like they were told.

"Firs'-years! Firs'-years over here!" came a loud voice from an incredibly large man, who stood on the platform.

"Is he a giant?" Draco whispered into Harry's ear.

"Probably..?" Harry whispered back.

Harry noticed (well, it wasn't hard) Colin Potter getting off the train, still sporting the gryffindor-coloured-inspired robes and walking with his parents and friends towards the giant man. Harry pulled up the robes to cover his face, trying to give the impression that he was cold, hiding himself from his old family.

Harry couldn't help but notice how unlike he and his brother actually were. Harry looked more like his father, although he had green eyes, not his father's hazel. Colin, however, looked nothing like either parent, he just looked cocky.

Luckily for Harry, Lily, James, Sirius, Peter, and Remus seemed to be walking with the other students on another path to the school.

"Firs' years! To the boats! Come on!"

"Boats?" asked Blaise quietly.

A loud 'Oooh!' brought Harry out of that conversation. He looked up.

The path they had been walking along suddenly opened up, revealing a large black lake, which reminded Harry greatly of a shiny black onyx. But, the greatest sight of all, was a huge castle sat on a mountain.

"Woah..." Harry whispered.

His Mum had described Hogwarts castle as a "large, eye-catching, mysterious castle. Full of excitement, unity, and, most certainly, secrets that are, some times, best left alone".

Well, she was right about the eye-catching, mysterious building. But the secret part? Harry wasn't sure yet.

The giant man marched the first years over to the lake where a number of boats were waiting.

"N more'n four to a boat!" the man called.

Harry looked at his friends, who were all looking at each other. They were all thinking the same thing: There was five of them, who's taking one for the team?

"You boys take a boat, I'll ride with the girls. Don't have too much fun without me!" called Pansy as she walked towards some girls who were already boarding a boat.

Harry went fist at boarding the boat, Draco sat next to him, with Theo and Blaise behind them. The excited buzz that had been on the train had returned.

Harry also saw Colin enter a boat with another red haired boy and two other with them.

I bet Mother and Father arranged those friends for him.

Harry pushed those thoughts aside as the man, who had a whole boat to himself, yelled: "FORWARD!"

The boats all moved along the lake, moving swiftly towards the castle.

Harry couldn't help but gaze at the scenery around him. The sky was clear, so the stars were bright and radiant and reflected in the waters surrounding him. The moon even reflected in the water. Harry found that if he blocked out all other things in his line of sight and stared at the water, it was like he was flying in the sky. Which he thought was amazing.

He and Draco shared a smile as they looked around them. Harry also took great delight in seeing Colin look seasick.

As they got closer to the cliff, the man (Harry decided to find out his name as soon as he could) yelled for everyone to duck as they were carried through a curtain of ivy.
