[A/N: Well, if you can't find enough fanfics about your ships, you have to write them yourself, am I right?]
Kurt was confused.
Well, he was confused most of the time, since he had a hard time focusing on what everyone is saying or he had no idea what did they mean, but it was a different type of confusion.
He felt safe for the first time in years, Which was quite weird, considering he's locked in a mansion with a bunch of crazy people and sometimes they would be hunted for sports by a bunch of undead weirdoes, but...
there was this guy in the mansion. A cowboy. His name is Kevin, and he's the sweetest, coolest man the adventurer has ever met. He'd always come to the rescue during matches, and he always listens to Kurt's adventure stories (No matter how many times the doctor tells the cowboy that these are just Kurt's hallucinations), and whenever Kevin hears him playing his ukulele [A/N: PEOPLE CAN HAVE HEADCANONS, KAREN!] at night, his music was calming and sweet.

The match was in the old textile factory. The snow has covered the ground, painting the ruins with beautiful white. A cold breeze was hitting the adventurer's neck as he was decoding the last cipher with Freddy Reily.
Today's hunter was no other than Robbie. It's not scary when you THINK about him being a hunter. He's just a little kid with an ax, right? Well, not exactly. He was fast, and his ax was always sharp. Poor Kurt was already a bit injured from it, but he was lucky enough that Servais destructed the kid for a bit.
The lawyer and the adventurer were close to finishing decoding the old machine when their heart began to beat loudly. Robbie was close.
"Freddy, run." Kurt said. "I'll finish decoding. You go to the gate."
"But-" The lawyer said, but was cut off by Kurt's serious expression. He just nodded and ran off.
Just as Kurt finished the decoding, and a bright light was lighting the area, he felt Robbie's ax hitting his hip. [A/N: I mean, come on. Robbie IS small.]
The adventurer fell to the ground as the kid tied him to a bunch of balloons and dragged him all the way to the nearest rocket chair. However, Robbie was still young and had time to make mistakes, so after tying the adventurer to the chair, the child went looking for the other survivors and left the man unsupervised.
Kurt could hear the alarm, knowing the gate has opened. He heard Freddy calling Sevais to get out of here. He expected the chair to fly him, but... he saw Kevin sneaking over to him.
The cowboy used him lasso to grab the helpless adventurer and carried him in a bridal style. "Couldn't leave you behind, partner." The cowboy said as he ran towards the gate with the man in his arms. Robbie began chasing the two of them, but Kurt didn't care. Kevin's hands were warm and strong, and the adventurer felt calmer in his arms. He closed his eyes and leaned his head on Kevin's shoulder as they exited through the gate, leaving Robbie throwing a tantrum.
When they were far enough from the factory, Kevin gently put Kurt on the ground, leaning his back against a stone fence. The cowboy sat in front of the adventurer and scanned his injuries.
"It doesn't look like you could walk normally for the rest of the day." Kevin said. "You got a first aid kit in your bag?"
Kurt took off his backpack and dag inside, pulling out a first aid kit and handing it to the cowboy.
"Thanks." Kevin said as he took it, and began tending Kurt's injuries.
Usually, it would be painful and itchy, but... Kevin's touch was calming and careful as if Kurt was made of china.
