Luca, Andrew, and Victor were laying on the bed, still sleeping, as the sunlight tried to enter the bedroom through the curtains. It was another Sunday morning, and it was bright and calm. Wick entered through the doggy door and jumped onto the bed, licking the prisoner's face and waking him up, along with the grave keeper.
"Vic..." Andrew yawned.
"Mhmm?" Victor replied, still asleep.
"Your dog." Andrew replied as Wick turned to lick his face as well.
The postman sat up and gently grabbed his dog, hugging it and laughing as Wick licked his face.
"Fine, Wick! I'm gonna take you for a walk." The postman yawned. "Just let me get ready."
Wick wagged his tail as his owner put him back on the wooden floor, looking at Victor and his boyfriends getting out of bed. They got dressed, brushed their teeth, Andrew even showered, and they went downstairs to have breakfast. Victor poured dog food into Wick's food bowl and sat down at the table next to Luca as Andrew was cooking breakfast.
"Apparently I got a match in four hours." Luca said.
"On Sunday?!" Andrew asked as he put down three plates with bacon and eggs.
"Yup." Luca replied. "And it's against MICHIKO. And I can't kite her."
"Oh, yeah!" Victor said. "I think we're together in this."
"You two get zero mercy from the host, huh?" Andrew asked, placing a kiss on both their cheeks before sitting down between them.
"I mean, I'm more worried about Luca and Wick." Victor said. "Especially about Wick. No offense, Lu."
"None taken," Luca replied with a chuckle. "Last time you had a match against her, you came back holding him. Poor Wick was so traumatized."
"I can take him for a walk today, Vic." Andrew replied. "you two need to rest and prepare for that match."
"Really?" Victor asked. Andrew nodded.
"You're a lifesaver, Rew." Victor said, hugging the grave keeper.
As they finished their breakfast, Andrew put the leash on Wick and went outside.
"Let's hope Michiko won't hurt Wick THIS time." Victor said.
"It would've been hilarious if it was against Luchino, tho." Luca chuckled. "He literally let us win because he accidentally hit the poor dog."
"Yeah, I remember that." Victor laughed. "Man, I never saw Luchino in tears before that match."
"I mean, he WAS a biologist," Luca said. "He loves animals to the point of becoming one. It's like a fursuit or something."
Luca placed his hand around Victor's waist as they sat on the couch. The postman laid his head on the prisoner's shoulder, slowly closing his eyes. Luca placed a soft kiss on his head and played with the blonde's hair. He wasn't planning on letting the geisha hurt this beautiful man.
Andrew returned to the manor with a smile, and with the barking Wick. The dog immediately ran to sit on the sofa next to his owner, and Andrew watched them and smiled. He grabbed a blanket from the other couch, sat next to them, then covered them up.
Sure, he was worried about the match. He didn't want to see them getting hurt. But seeing them calm like this made him happy. He leaned against Luca as well as he closed his eyes.
"I love you two so much." The grave keeper whispered before falling back asleep.
It was just another Sunday morning, and for now, it was perfect.
