Saturday came and it was around afternoon. I told Catalina to get here like at 4 so we could start getting ready together. I took a shower and after I got out I change into some comfy clothes and let my hair air dry since I'm straighten it later when I get ready. I go downstairs to see my grandparents in the living room.
"Hola Mija come estas?" She gives me a hug (hey how are you?)
"Oh I've been doing good you know trying to keep my grades together" I tell her and she nodded. I went to go say hi to my grandpa. My grandpa and I are really close and we get along very well.
"Is that my little partner in crime that I see?" He laughed and I shook my head and gave him a hug
"We haven't got in trouble in a while we should change that abuelo" i smiled at him
"Sorry Mija just that lately work has been crazy but I'll make sure to get off early next Friday and we can spend the day together before the twins birthday party" I nodded at him. My grandpa and I usually hangout like every weekend or we try to but I get it he works in construction and he's out in the sun all day so I get how tired he must be whenever he gets home.
I stayed in the living room hanging out with them for a while until Catalina came over so we started to get ready. I was at my vanity doing my make-up and Catalina was doing her hair so that way we can switch after we were done. While I was applying eyeshadow I got a message from Nick which was weird but I still responded anyways

Nicholas: Okay don't hate me but I told my mom I was going to a party and I knew you were gonna go but she wouldn't let me until I told her that I was going with you so I'll just pick you guys up k thanks
Ximena: Okay? Well I'll just let you know Whenever we're done getting ready
Nicholas: You got 2 hours so take the time You need
*read 5:30pm*
I put my phone down and looked at Catalina and smiled
"Girl what now?" She asked me she knew I had to say something to her cause I do this smile
"So umm we got 2 hours to get ready" I say under one breath
"WHATTTT" she yelled out
"Yeah turns out Nick mom wouldn't let him go until he told her he was going with us so he's gonna be picking us up" after Catalina freaking out for like 5 minutes because she loves to take her time to get ready she finished her hair and I finished my makeup and then we switched so I could do my hair.
After we were done getting ready I wanted to wear something simple but also cute so I put this on
