As requested by the nice reader aka @Brycosplays again, in this the reader is short and stands on a platform to look Iida directly in the eye and then Iida pats them on the back! Hope you enjoy! ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• Author POV It was in the middle of the school year when there were news about some sort of concert U.A. was hosting. It was going to be huge! Everyone in class 1A (in this you're in class 1A sorry if you don't like it :/) was assigned a role. Y/N and Iida were assigned for putting up the props on stage. Iida had been liking Y/N for a while now but he didn't know how Y/N felt back to him... he was assuming Y/N liked boys who were more of their short height instead of taller ones who had to be looked up upon. While setting up Iida couldn't help but notice Y/N struggle with putting up a light. He walked up to them and said, "Excuse me Y/N you seem to be struggling with that light would you like me to assist you in putting that up?" "Well yeah that'd be helpful!" Y/N responded. As Iida put up the light he looked down at Y/N to see a look of admiration in their eyes. This distracted him and his grip on the light, which caused the light to fall on him making him fall to the stage. Y/N couldn't help but chuckle a bit at what had just happened everyone else was just staring at Iida since he was never clumsy. Kaminari took a picture and walked away back to his job, while the others snickered a bit. Iida was completely flushed due to the fact he made a fool of himself in front of Y/N. He got up dusted himself up and put the light up instantly before running back to his other prop station. Y/N yelled out a thank you which made Iida turn around and nod while blushing furiously.
~Time Skip to the end of setting up~
Y/N had to just put the last prop up which was going to be very difficult due to the fact it was yet again, another light. Iida, who was watching Y/N carefully while he could took notice of this again and went up to them asking if they needed any help again. Y/N took out a step-stool and went on top of it. They looked Iida in the eye causing him to blush. "I'm just your height now so no thanks, but I'm glad you offered your help again, I just don't want you falling," Y/N said. "O-oh I see um that's alright, hey maybe you could meet me outside at the school gates I have something to tell you!" Iida stuttered. Y/N nodded and went back to putting the light up. Iida POV What did I just say?!? I'm not ready to confess yet! I can't just ditch them that would be so rude and it would make a bad impression of me! But I guess it's now or never... Author POV Iida waited outside and saw Y/N walking towards him. He looked down for a bit and noticed Y/N carrying a step-stool again. "Ahem Y/N I wanted to let you know I really like you and I hope we could go out to Lunch Rush tomorrow!" Iida yelled. Y/N snickered a bit and said, "That'd be nice, I also have feelings for you too," Iida was so happy he zones out for a moment until he realized Y/N's lips were on his. He kissed back then separated. "How did you get so tall?" Iida asked. "Look down." Y/N replied. "Oh."
