Ep 06 ; Part 3 - Joy

Sejeong's POV ;

"Omo, omo! Michiesso! Since when he's standing there?" I jump into the pantry, just to hide and run away from that Eunwoo guy.

As I am already here, I planned to have a seat and finish my drink. I was actually running to the wrong side. My room is headed to the right but I went to the left. I just couldn't think straight in that situation. And now, I'm afraid he's still there. So I'll spend some time here before going back to my room.

"Sejeong-ah... You're here?" That's when Joy came.

"Ne..." I decided to have a talk with Joy while accompanying her. We never meet at dorm though. So I'm gonna appreciate this opportunity.

"How's it going with Sehun?"

"Mwo?"

"The dance."

"Oo... It's great. I think he's a good dancer. He made me catch up the choreography faster."

"Guerae... He's a really good dancer. He's as good as Kai but you can say he's a bit humble."

"I see..."

"But in my opinion, Ten is the best. Ten is just 1% before perfect."

"He seems so though..." Something just comes to my mind. Nayoung once told me that to catch a guy's heart you must first get to know him well. Why not now? Joy seems to know him. At least she knows him more than I do.

"By the way, Joy-ah... Do you know Sehun well? You just seem so." I start with a tricky statement.

"We've been classmates since elementary school that's why I know him quite well, but we're not close. He's not a guy who gets close with girls easily, you know?"

"He is?" I should have expected it from how he respected me as a girl during the dance practice. But he's just not like himself this morning. The way he touched my bang. He seems friendly. Is he not being himself when he's with me? Is this a great sign or not? I need to ask Nayoung about this. Just wait, Nayoung-ah… I'll disturb you tonight!

"Ne… That's why we are a bit shocked when he volunteered to be your partner. It's just not something we expected from him."

"He must felt guilty if he didn't do that as he sits next to me. He should be the best person to lend me a hand, isn't he?" I resist humbly even my heart jumps out of joy. He must be fallen for me already!

"Up till now, I think he just gets along well with Irene Unnie and Yoona Unnie."

"Irene Unnie? Yoona Unnie? Who are they?"

"I'm not sure why, but Irene Unnie is just somehow quite close to Sehun. I think she's the closest one. To think of it, maybe it happened because when we are in junior high, Sehun and Irene Unnie were chosen to do photoshoots together. Maybe that's the starting point. Sehun likes Yoona Unnie too. Lucky him, both Irene Unnie and Yoona Unnie are extremely beautiful."

"Jinjja? What a lucky guy. So he does has a crush?" I'm just asking, but I don't know how it sounds to Joy.

"Ne... But I think it's just a dongsaeng-noona crush. By the way, are you jealous, Sejeong-ah?" She smiles widely while looking deep inside my eyes, trying to tease me.

"Ani!! Why should I? Just let him be with whoever he wants, " I said, despite the fact that I really want to know who the two are. How pretty are they and how great are they.

"Geojitmalhajima! You seems so!"

"M... Mwo? I do?" I just laugh, covering up what I really feel. It's somewhat like jealous and also insecure.

"Guerae... It's obvious..." Joy is laughing at me.

Sejeong-ah, why can't you put up some acting skills? My talents sometimes don't work as they should be when I need them.

"Malhae... You seem close to Sehun these days. What's your relationship status, huh? Or at least tell me if you like him. I don't spread others' secrets. I'll tell everything I know about him to you as well," she slows down her voice to make sure no one will hear us.

"If I tell you, then can you give me more information about him?" I started my plan. It's a win-win situation though.

"Guerae... I knew it! You like him, aren't you?" she said, still whispering.

"I don't know if it's the same or not. I need him. For the Webtoon contest I'm entering."

"Mwo? I don't understand."

"I need the experience of being in a relationship or at least fall in love with him to make the scenes in my comics. I'm lack of it as I'm from an all-girl high school. But the theme of the contest is love. So by hook or by crook, I need to make a great love scenes." Being honest isn't that bad. At least I don't tell her the biggest secret about Sehun's father.

"I see... So you are hoping for a love-back from him, aren't you?" Joy is still teasing me.

"You can say that..." I'm acting shy. Why do I need to be the first to like him? He's not even my type. Even if I did praise him for his eyes, face and even his hands, it does not make him my type. I like a manly face after all. Not someone with fair baby skin like him.

Come on, Joy-ah, just tell me about him now! I can't stand any longer playing this nonsense shy face for that Sehun guy!

"I'll try to tell you what I knew. Jamkkaman..."

I look at her with a shining hope in my eyes. Please tell me a lot about him, Joy-ah!

"Omo... Sejeong-ah... I think I know nothing about him."

The shining hope in my eyes scattered away listening to her words. "W... What did you say?" In my eyes right now, Joy is as small as an ant I feel like I want to pinch her and kill her under my shoes.

"I... I told you I'm not close to him..."

Yeah, you did say that... Before you said you'll tell me everything you know about him.

"I do know something about him but I'm not sure if these are useful or not."

"It's alright... Just tell me. I'll decide if they are useful or not."

"You know Miranda Kerr?"

"Who's that? Is she someone well known?" I ask blankly.

"Of course... She's the model of Victoria Secret. Sehun is really a big fan of her. Jinjja!"

"Miranda Kerr... I'll find about her later. What else?" It's not a matter if I look too obvious. At least I don't waste my secret by not getting any useful information from her.

"Molla. That's all I knew about him. " Joy looks at me, gives me an innocent smile.

Oh God, this is really a waste of secret.
