Ghosts Go Green

Night guard duty can be boring as Hell. To wake up and get off bed at a certain hour for an entire hour was so tedious I don't want to remember anymore. To interrupt precious course of sleep in the middle of the night, carry your M16 on shoulders and walk around... And not only that, you need to do some cores like mopping, sweeping, cleaning the latrines... Well, that's part of being in the ARMY BT.

That night I was meditating about all that. I liked to read the Bible or carried my sketch pad to draw when I finished my cores waiting for the minutes to fly fast. We were always in pair. Two girls per platoon guarding our respective posts... My battle buddy was doing her cores while I stood on the guard post reading some Psalms.

A cold breeze blew all of the sudden making me shiver. I felt a weird sensation... It was if like someone was staring at me. A chilling current ran up my spine. I hesitated first but then I walked around to check the window in the rear end... The panes were closed. Quickly I returned to where I was sitting and began to read again.

The cold gust again... Immediately I looked to the closed metal door to my right and stared. There was some kind of smoke or steam in the air that appeared in the other side of the door. The small squared crystal window frosted. I stared fixated. All of a sudden a woman passed by slowly... I saw only her dark wet loose hair and pale features as she walked by directly to meet the end of the hall. It was a dead end for there was only wall... No windows or doors to go out the building or pass through. Only brick and wall. And she disappeared.

*** Yep... This also happened to me...
