"How does it feel?" Akira asked as she continuously poked my stomach

"Stop" I pushed her hand away "it feels weird"

"You can feel the baby?"

"No. I'm talking about you poking me. And don't be so loud"

"My bad. I'm just shook. I ain even know you and Tremaine was fucking. Like you lost your virginity and didn't tell me. We tell each other everything.. how did Tremaine take it?"

"Just as surprised as everybody else" I shrugged as I pushed my plate away "I'm really not even hungry"

"Girl you better eat. You eating for two now, remember"

"I don't even know if ima keep this baby honestly"

Akira's face stiffened up "you tryina abort it?"

"No. But I was looking into adoption"

"But what if you get attached to it as soon as it comes?"

"That's my biggest concern but... Akira" I leaned closer to her keeping my voice low "I'm not ready for no baby"

"Egypt nobody is ever ready for one but it's a learning process. Now if you wanna give it away do that, but make sure you think it through because it's a lot that comes with that.. you coming to my house today?"

"I can't. My aunt Terri supposed to be picking me up from school"

The chair on the other side of me was pulled out and Tremaine sat down. I honestly felt bad knowing that his feelings was hurt and I wish it didn't have to be like this but unfortunately the damage is done

"Why you ain eating?"

I rolled my eyes "do y'all have to keep questioning why I'm not eating?"

"Yeah. Yo momma told me to make sure you eat"

"Well I'm not hungry. Plus this food looks nasty"

I shook my head at Tremaine "I'm good. I promise"

"And look at my hoeing ass brother" Akira said out loud " now I'm surprised he ain gotta baby yet"

Tremaine looked at me and I shook my head before looking at Christian, who was standing with some girl holding hands with her while talking to another as the girl he held hands with focused on her phone

"Hold up, I'll be back" Akira stood up and walked over to Christian leaving me and Tremaine at the table alone

"She don't know?"

I shook my head "no and I'm honestly scared to"

"So she just think it's my baby?"

"Yeah.. I'm tryina find a way to tell her so-"

"You ain gotta tell her. If she think it's mine then just keep it that way.. especially if you'on feel comfortable tellin her bout her stupid ass brother... he still messaging you?"

"He did again yesterday, telling me if I tell anybody it's his he just gone deny it and that I might as well kill it cause I can't afford to take care of a baby on my own"
