While Aunt Terri went to work this morning, Akira was in the other room sleep and Carson was chilling in his crib, I was up. I couldn't keep myself chill enough to actually get some rest because my mind was thinking of so many things right now between the fact that I'm starting my senior year in two months so not only was I gonna be a high school senior, but I'm also a parent that's gonna have to work along with getting good grades to go to a good college so I could live a good life for my son. Not only that but a part of me was concerned about Tremaine and I's relationship, I was honestly missing my chaotic brothers and sister and even though kira was here helping me tremendously, I was still feeling alone.

The doorbell to the house rung so I slowly got up and walked out of the room, going down the hall and to the door. Seeing my momma, brothers and sister stand there instantly made me smile

"What y'all doing over here?"

I let them in and Sean wasted no time hugging me "oh my god I miss you egypt. Come back home"

"Please cause I hate being the only girl in the house" Vaeh added while momma closed the door behind them

"Forget you. Where's the baby?" Evan rudely asked and I frowned

"He in the room"

"He sleep?"

I shook my head as Carson suddenly belted out a loud cry. My momma made her way to the room and my brothers quickly followed behind her while Vaeh grabbed the tv remote and sat down on the chair

"You don't wanna see the baby?"

"Ima wait cause momma gone be stingy with him anyways"

I chuckled while walking back to the room seeing Evan and Sean pushing each other out of the way so they can get closer to Carson while my momma sat on the bed holding him

"Move Evannn" Sean fussed while Evan laughed and my momma snapped her head at the both of them

"Both of y'all stop. How bout y'all take y'all asses back round there anyways cause I need to talk to y'all sister anyways"

They both sucked their teeth before walking out of the room muttering something under their breaths. Once they were gone she looked at me while bouncing Carson in her arm then motioned for me to sit down so I did

"So... I had a interesting phone call yesterday"

"With who?"

"Angie"

Once she said Mrs Angie's name I sighed, not knowing what could come out her mouth next

"Why didn't you tell me egypt?"

I shrugged, playing with the hair tie on my wrist

"I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed in both you and Christian because y'all could've said something but you know what, as long as he does his part.. school or not.. that's all that matters at this point. I just wish you could've came to me"

"I'm sorry"

"Don't be sorry.. just promise me you gone start being honest with me from now on..."

She looked down at Carson who was slowly closing his eyes but then opened them again and let out a stretch

"Look at my baby boy.. and look at that dimple"

I smiled looking at Carson sit there with his dimple showing vividly on his clean brown skin while he wore a tiny smirk. She touched on his slicked hair
