"When you go back to school?" Essence asked as she got dressed right in front of the camera while we sat on FaceTime

"I leave next Sunday"

"Forreal? We gotta link this week then"

I smiled while she pulled her tank top down and started to put on a pair of tights

"You got all yo stank ass in the camera"

"Boy bye. Don't act like that when you know my ass never stank"

"Ion know shit"

"Yeah okay. Act like you got amnesia"

"Well you gone have to remind me"

Carson started crying waking up from his sleep while he laid on my bed beside me so I put the phone down to pick him up, put his pacifier in his mouth and laid him on my chest before picking the phone back up and saw essence looking into the camera

"Who baby you got?"

"Mine"

Essence sucked her teeth "bye"

"You'on believe me?"

"Ain nobody following yo ass up Christian" she told me as she took her bonnet off and brushed down her weave while I softly patted Carson back "you think if you had a baby we wouldn't have known by now"

"It just ain none of y'all business"

"Who baby that is Forreal?"

"Mine!"

"Lemme see the baby face"

"Put the baby in the camera"

"Nah you good. Whatchu need to see his face for?"

She sucked her teeth again and stopped brushing her hair. Carson let out a yawn, dropping his pacifier on me so I sat all the way up while he tried to sit his head up

"Nigga you think you grown tryina sitcho big ass head up"

"I wanna see him"

"You see him" I told her, showing the back of his head in the camera

"My nephew sleep?" Akira asked as she walked in my room

"Akira that his son Forreal?" Essence asked while Akira grabbed Carson and his pacifier. She looked in the camera with her face frowned up

"Why?"

"Cause yo brother be lyin"

"What he gotta lie about. Him having a son?"

"So that is yo baby? What the fuck. Why you ain told nobody you gotta baby?"

Akira rolled her eyes and walked out of the room with Carson making me laugh

"How old yo baby is?"

"That ain't none of yo concern"

I scoffed while sitting on the side of my bed and ran my hand across my waves "yeah lemme see you even lift yo hand to hit me I'll knock yo ass into next year"
