we finished the movie and then decided to be productive and finish our homework

so i put my spotify in shuffle and connect it to my google home mini. we get our work out and start on it. i have sum photography homework i need to finish. like my project of the alphabet in pictures. and i have to finish another project of my own photo shoot. i start to get my google slides ready to put all my pictures for the alphabet one.

it's now have been an hour and a half and i finally finished one project while mariah has been done with her work for the past 30 minutes now

mariah: finally you're done. god damn
alex: sorry. okay well wanna look for places just in case the why don't we guest house doesn't work out
mariah: sure

so we both start looking on our laptops. it's been like 20 minutes and i show her the most perfect place for us

mariah: this one is perfect
alex: and gorgeous
mariah: it what we wanted for a long time now.
alex: 2 big bedrooms with a small guest room. 2 bathrooms. a nice kitchen. a big living room
mariah: a huge backyard with a big pool that goes to 10 feet deep.
mariah and alex: i- wow
alex: but look at the price.

it was really expensive. like we can't afford that. we still need to pay off our student loans n stuff like that. i need to pay off my car too. this is too much ughhh

mariah: never mind i guess
alex: yeah. ughh it's perfect
mariah: it's okay we still have a chance with their guest house right?
alex: honestly i don't know anymore. i was so happy when they said that but i don't think their managers are gonna let 2 random girls live close to them. and since we don't have a following or since that we're not famous it's not gonna do anything for them except ruin them and get angry fan girls. so i don't know
mariah: we just gotta hope you know. it still might happen.
alex: i'm hoping but yeah
mariah: okay let's get off this topic and do something else.
alex: well it's 9:30 pm right now.
mariah: wanna go on a drive since we got everything done ??
alex: of course. let's go!!

i grab my phone and keys and we make our way downstairs

mama: where are you guys going?
alex: can we go on a drive like always????
mariah: pretty please mama n baba
baba: okay sure. just because mariah is here.
alex: i see how it is. well i love you guys
brian: WAITTTTT I WANNA COME
alex: okay hurry. we're gonna be in the car
brian: OKAYYYYY
mariah and alex: thank you and we love you
mama and baba:  love you too.

brian comes running into the garage and once everyone is in, i pull out of the garage and brian starts playing on aux.

20 minutes later

i cant believe i'm doing this

mariah: oh my god alex what are you doing here
alex: i honestly don't know
brian: alex are you sure ?
alex: yeah. i think it's time to finally get him out of my head. it's been a year after all
mariah: alex you're supposed to take your time. it's okay
alex: no i think i'm ready
brian: okay let's turn this spot into a fun spot instead of a sad and traumatic spot
alex: smart idea bro

i go to brian and hug him then mariah joins in. i sniffle and think about what happened on this hill. crazy how that was only a year ago. i try not cry for the sake of brian because he hates when i cry. we get out off the group hug and i play music from my car and we have a dance party.

i really love them. and i really miss this hilltop when it was fun and not a sad thing. the only people that know what actually happened here are brian and mariah and i wouldn't have it any other way because then people would look at me differently. crazy how everything happens all at once.

i snap out of my thoughts when i get a notification. i go to check my phone and i got a text from daniel.

ugh i love this kid. ever since the beginning of why don't we. i always has my eye on daniel.

daniel🤩: hey whatcu doing right now?
alex💜: i'm hanging out with mariah and my little bro at the spot
daniel🤩: what and where's the spot?
alex💜: the spot is a hilltop
daniel🤩: ohhh can the boys and i come??

oooo should the boys come ??
