part forty eight

daniel's pov

jonah: you're gonna what now?
daniel: i'm gonna ask alex to be my girlfriend
jack: FINALLY
zach: WE KNEW YOU GUYS WERE A THING
daniel: okay fine yes we've kissed n cuddled but that's it
corbyn: you sure that's it?
daniel: yea i wanna make sure she's okay wit everything before we do other stuff but today i wanna focus on asking her to my girl
jonah: do you have an idea?
daniel: a scavenger hunt kinda
zach: elaborate
daniel: we first talked on this couch. then we got closer in her room and while setting it up. we had our first kiss in my room on her graduation. n the second time in her room we got really close like now i've been sleeping in her room n shit. and the bathroom down here after the party i made sure she was okay so there's that. but like the spot or the hill top is a good place because that's when she opened up to me so maybe i'll ask her there.
corbyn: yeah how she told us bout her ex is maybe there would be good because she will always see that place as a negative place so maybe doing it there would help her you know?
daniel: yeah okay i'll do it there.
zach; okay what are you gonna do for the scavenger hunt thingy?
daniel: i was think you're guys.
jonah: okay explain
daniel: each one of you guys are gonna hold a white rose wit a card that explains the place. so like zach will be in her room. corbyn you'll be here on the couch. jack you'll be in the guest bathroom down here in ours. and jonah you'll be in my room.
jonah: okay let's get started. i'll go get a bouquet of white roses and red roses for when you ask her from the store n you daniel start wit writing the cards. n then what do you want us to wear?
daniel: nice clothes like tuxedos
corbyn: okay everyone go get ready

jonah leaves to the store n i start writing the cards. the first one is the couch. the second one is the her room. the third one is the bathroom. n the fourth one is my room.

30 minutes later

jonah comes back wit the roses. they're perfect. i'm almost done wit the cards. i typed them because my hands are too shaky to write them. i print them on hard paper n cut them up n give it to everyone. i gave corbyn the couch one. zach her room. jack the bathroom n jonah is my room. now it's time to get ready

1 hour n 30 minutes later

i am now ready. i have a tuxedo on. my hair is all nice. i go downstairs to see all the other boys ready. i can't believe this is gonna happen

another hour later

i have explained everything that's gonna happen n how it's gonna go. i explained the plan n now we're waiting for them to come back but they haven't yet so i decried to take it upon myself to text alex to come home

daniel🤩: hey alex are you guys okay? when are you guys coming home?
alex💜: um we'll come home now sorry we took long
daniel🤩: don't be sorry. just be careful
alex💜: okay we're coming now. give us 10 minutes.

now i need to text mariah to bring alex straight to our house

daniel❤️: hey mariah make sure alex comes to our house first.
mariah🥰: okay. is everything okay?
daniel❤️: yeah you'll see soon.

i had to leave to the hill so i grabbed the red roses n i started driving there n setting up my area. now we wait

end pov

after i got daniel's text we started heading home. soon enough we made it back home. i was gonna head to our house but mariah stopped me.

mariah: go to their house first. let's go.

she grabbed my hand n she guided us towards their house. we opened the front door n walk in to see corbyn standing but the couch wit a tux on and his hands are behind his back. he looks up n smiles.

we walk up to him

alex: hi corbyn
corbyn: hi alex
alex: what's this?
corbyn: i have a few words i would like to say from daniel. but first this is yours

he hands me a white rose. one of my favorites. i look at mariah n she shrugs in confusion. then corbyn pulls out a paper n begins to read

alex: thank you
corbyn: "hi alex. this is where everything started. i instantly fell in love wit you. this is where i planned my future wit you by only meeting you for one minute. now can you please go where it got a bit steamy setting up your stuff"
alex: wow okay thank you corbyn.

i hug corbyn n then i grab mariah's hand n i start heading towards my room

mariah: i'm gonna cry
alex: me too

i make it n i see zach standing by my bed all dressed up too holding another white rose n a card.

zach; this is for you alex
alex: thank you
zach: "this is where it got a little bit steamy. it felt nice having you on top of me just messing around wit each other being stupid n acting all bold. this was the first time i ever felt this way towards a girl. now can you please go to where i woke up in a fright because i was scared for you"
alex: thank you zach.

i hug him n kiss his cheek. then i head back to the guys house wit mariah n i pass corbyn to the guest bathroom in their house to see jack standing in the doorway

jack: this is for the lovely alex
alex: thanks bubs
jack: "after that night i came here to you when you were crying. we just hugged each other for a few seconds but it felt like a lifetime. this is when i realized that i love you so much. now please go to where we had our first kiss"

i hug jack n i grab mariah's hand basically dragged her to daniel's room. where i see jonah. mariah kisses him as he hands me the rose.

jonah: "this is where we had our first kiss. this day is where we both really realized that we wanna be wit each other. this day was your graduation n i'm so proud of you for that. now this is gonna be a drive but would you please go to the area where you opened up to me"
alex: ahhh lemme go get my mansss
mariah: be careful while driving but imma stay wit jonah. i love you

i hug mariah n jonah n i scream i love you as i'm running down the stairs. i see the other boys in the living room n i tell them i love them as they are laughing at me.
