part twenty four

daniel: what are you thinking about right now?
alex: of course you would want to know
daniel: yes that's why i asked
alex: that's for me to know and you to never find out

alex: yes now we need to finish packing
daniel: no i-

i take his hands off of me while smiling at him

he looks at the ground and shakes his head while laughing and moves away from me

i smile at daniel n we start on our other jobs. i heard putting your clothes in a trash bag wit the hangers n it'll be easy to hang em back up n will help while moving so that's what i did. i had 3 full trash bags of all my clothes. then i take down everything from the top of my closet. n put it in boxes n soon i was done wit my closet.

i take the stuff under my bed n that's when corbyn n zach came back to get my desk. they slowly take down my desk n most of the boxes into jonah's car. n they leave to the house. that's when me n daniel finish up the rest of my room n put all the rest of the boxes in my car. it's been an hour n a half when we finished my room. i give daniel a high five then i clean my bed to make sure it's nice n neat. i vacuum my room n dust it real quick before i leave it.

my room feels so empty n i don't like that feeling. i feel sad now. i'm leaving my childhood home. i've loved here ever since i was 5 years old. for 16 years bro. but it's not like i'm moving to a different state. it's just 30 minutes away. but it feels like i'm moving to a different country. i'll still visit for like a weekend n i'll still sleep in this bed. but yeah. daniel n i head downstairs to my parents.

alex: mama n baba. we finished everything in my room. n i cleaned it too. i'll drive to the house to put my stuff in the room n brian n i will come back for dinner
mama: n bring mariah n her mom to eat wit us
alex: okay i'll text her

alex💜: come to my house in an hour wit your mom to have dinner wit us
mariah🥵: sir yes sir
alex💜: don't ever say that ever again
mariah🥵: fuck you

daniel n i head to my car we head out.

daniel: so
alex: so
daniel: i really enjoyed that
alex: what? cleaning my room ?
daniel: no well yes but also being really close to you
alex: me too
daniel: good to know

we look at each other n smile. then we continued on talking about more stuff about our lives n i'm really starting to trust him. which is really good. soon we make it n we can't sop talking. n that's the best feeling ever. i park n we get our n start taking boxes up to the room i chose. the desk was placed nicely in a good area thanks to corbyn n zach. even tho they're nowhere to be seen. we keep putting the boxes in my room n i had the last one. it only took like 10 minutes. i start putting my clothes in the closet because it was in the bags so that was easy n then we head back to my car to see the rest of the boys pull up.

alex: okay y'all imma go eat dinner wit my family so i'll come back after n finish up my room.
jack: okay have fun.
jonah: also mariah's stuff is in her room too
alex: okay thank you for letting me know.

the rest of the boys head into their house n daniel is still outside wit me

daniel: okay well i'll see you soon. have fun
alex: see you soon

he hugs me. tightly. n i liked that. i get into my car n i drive away thinking about daniel.

daniel's pov

after alex left i had a million thoughts going through my brain right now

she's absolutely beautiful

and that little moment we had keeps replaying in my mind

zach: yo dani you good? alex left like 5 minutes ago. why you still out here?
daniel: oh shit sorry.

n like that i put all my thoughts about her to the back of my mind for now so i can focus on the boys
