3:30 am

my eyes flutter open slowly as i hear few rustling of blankets around me. i look to my side to see daniel cuddled right next to me.

i slowly move away so i can go to the bathroom. i make it not waking anyone up n i close the door. i look at myself in the mirror n see all the tear stains n my puffy eyes.

wow i cried this much?

i use the bathroom n as i wash my hands i hear a knock.

alex: come in

the door slowly opens n i see daniel coming into the bathroom.

daniel: i woke up a few minutes ago n i saw you weren't there so i got scared you went to the spot but i saw the light on
alex: don't worry. i don't feel like going all the way there.
daniel: you okay?
alex: i will be
daniel: n i'll be there every step of the way.
alex: wow the only people i heard that from was mariah n brian.
daniel: get used to everyone around you saying it because we will always be here no matter what.
alex: thank you
daniel: n you don't need to thank me or the other guys.
alex: how did i get so lucky to have y'all in my life?
daniel: by me bumping into a beautiful woman n accidentally dropping my wallet on my way out
alex: that was almost 4 months ago.
alex n daniel: wow
alex: hey lets get back to sleep
daniel: after you

daniel held the door open for me n we both walked back to our side of the couch. i wrapped myself wit the blanket as he did the same thing. then he scooted closer to me. he looked at me for approval before touching my waist to bring us both closer to each other. n soon i fell asleep in his arms.

1:30 pm
may 24th, 2020
sunday

i go to turn around as my eyes start to open to see daniel but he isn't there. i get up slowly n no one is on the couch. i grab my phone next to me to check the time n holy shit it's 1:30.

i'm late for work oh shit

i start to get off the couch fast n head to the front door but it opens n everyone comes in the house. they all stare at me as i'm trying to scoot passed them

mariah: i called off your work
alex: oh thank god you did or i would've been hella late
mariah: yeah i'm smart
leena: yes you are but um can i go change n take a shower?
mariah: i'll come wit you

she takes my hand n we head to our house. i make it to my room n plop down on my bed.

mariah: you okay now or do you need to let it out again?
alex: i think i'm good actually
mariah: wow. they really helped huh?
alex: yeah especially daniel. i didn't tell you this but he caught me before i jumped
mariah: alex again?
alex: i couldn't help it after all the memories came flooding in
mariah: okay just at least he was there to stop you.
alex: yeah well can i go shower?
mariah: yeah but i'll stay here just in caee
alex: okay
mariah: n i'll get another outfit ready for you
alex: thank you

i walk to the bathroom n strip naked of all my clothes. i turn on the water before i get in to get it warm. i stare at myself in the mirror n a small tear falls down my face. i wipe it fast n get into the shower n do what i have to do

10 minutes later

i get out n put a towel on my hair n around my body n u head out to my room. i see mariah in my bed n on her phone as a outfit is laid on my bed. her eyes follow me as i pick up the outfit.

alex: thank you again. for everything in my life.
mariah: that's what best friends are for

i start changing in front of her because we've seen each other naked before. not a big deal. i style my hair n then we head to the boys. as we enter the house i smell of yummy food. we go to the kitchen n i see all the boys fixing up plates. they all look at us n smile. i see pancakes, waffles, eggs, n bacon. all yummy food

alex: wow thank you boys.
mariah: they cook ??
jonah: yes we do mariah
daniel: you guys came perfect timing so everyone grab a plate n put what you want n let's start eating.

so i grab a plate n i put a waffle n a pancake. then a few strips of bacon n a bit if eggs then i walk to the table n sit down n start eating. soon everyone gets all their food n heads to the table. daniel sat next to me n we kept looking at each other n start smiling.

we all started talking n it was like a normal day. everyone had what happened last night in the back of their minds but we don't need to talk about it.

we all started talking about corey's birthday tomorrow. i cant wait.

soon enough we all finished eating n cleaning up. n then brian had to leave so i hugged him n walked him to his car

alex: don't tell mama n baba please
brian: i wasn't going to unless you were
alex: not now. i love you ugly
brian: i love you more stoopid.
alex: be careful n text me when you make it home
brian: i will

i watch him leave n then i head back inside

alex: so what's the plan??
corey: trying to plan what we're gonna do tomorrow
alex: oooo yayay bettt

boring chapter sorry but yes next chapter is gonna be about corey passing :(
