IMPORTANT !! i'm gonna put a trigger warning just incase because something happens near the end

only a few customers came so i've been sitting on the counter watching mariah struggle with her work. so i go over to her and try to help her but we're not doing the same major so it's kind of hard to help. but i try my best to help even tho she's just yelling at me now.

mariah: you're no help dude just get away from me
alex: sorry
mariah: don't be. i'm sorry. i just need to get this done by tonight.
alex: you will. i believe in you.

soon a customer comes in so i leave mariah to do her work. i make it to over the counter. i put on my nice voice

alex: hello. welcome to your local coffee shop. my name is alex. how may i help you?

i take his order and i do what i gotta do for him. he keeps looking at me. looking me up n down. i feel really weird but i just brush it off. he pays and he sits down. i give him his coffee and muffin. then i went back to mariah. the guy kept looking at us. i can say he's around our age. guessing 20 or 21 years old. he's like checking us out.

alex: the dude that came in is checking us out. and he won't stop
mariah: i know i noticed and it's getting creepy.
alex: don't worry if he does anything i'll kick him out.
mariah: okayyyyy good
alex: and i'll kick his ass.
mariah: and there comes phsyco alex again.
alex: what?? stopppp i'm not physco. i'll just hurt someone if they hurt you or someone else i love.
mariah: and that's called
alex: called love now shut your ass up n finish your work. i get to have my break in an hour.
mariah: okayyyy

i go back to over the counter to clean up a bit n when i was walking over to there i felt that guy's eyes follow me. you know when you can feel someone staring at you yeah i felt that but he was like staring at my ass. i can so tell ugh i hate people like him. after like 10 minutes mariah yells at me

mariah: the boys wanna hang out
alex: tell em to come here
mariah: i already did they'll leave in 10
alex: okay good. ugh i cant wait to see em
mariah: same

i keep my phone in my pocket even tho i'm not supposed to have my phone but i don't care. i check my texts and i see i got one from daniel.

daniel🤤: hey i don't know if mariah told you but we're coming to the coffee place you work at. we're leaving in around 10 minutes so see you soon cutie
alex💜: yes mariah told me n i can't wait. i missed y'all. i missed you. n the only cutie here is you dummy
daniel🤤: shut up gorgeous. i'll see you soon
alex💜: okay see you soon handsome🥵

i smile at the texts and i put my phone away because i hear the bell on the door ring signaling more customers. i go back to the counter n take their orders n shit like that. more customers start pulling in so i don't know what time the boys are coming bc idek how much time passed. the guy who was checking mariah n i out came up to me at the counter. he returned his cup n usually that's weird because you leave the cup on the table but it's okay.

alex: thank you sir but you could've left it on the table.
??: well i wanted to bring it up to you
alex: well thank you again and have a good rest of your day sir
??: actually i wanna get to know you
alex: um sorry but i'm not interested
??: why?

he looks so creepy n i'm so uncomfortable right now.

i make eye contact with mariah and she mouths "say you have a boyfriend". i give her the look saying yes n i look back at the creepy dude. he seriously looks like a pedo even tho he like my age.

alex: i have a boyfriend sir
??: okay what about your friend?
alex: she has a boyfriend too so i hope you have a good day sir
??: who cares about your boyfriend? either of y'all need a good guy to show you how love is
alex: sir i said we're good n we're loyal so yeah. so again can you please leave
??: we can have a threesome
alex: again we're good

mariah sees that he ain't leaving and i'm struggling. so she gets and comes to us.

mariah: sir she rejected your offer many times so i think that's a sign for you to stop and leave so please leave

he didn't say anything yet but he just grabbed wrist and pulled her closer to him.

alex: hey don't touch her
mariah: let go of me

people in the store aren't doing anything because they're all girls and they're scared that he's gonna do that to them. so i get where they are coming from.

he keeps his hands on her wrists. and he grabs mine and i'm just frozen. i'm freaking out.

just as he was about to say something the bell rings as more people come in. i look up to see the boys. jonah's eyes go straight to mariah and rushes to her. the rest of the boys go get a hold of the guy while jonah has mariah in his arms and hugging her making sure she's okay.

soon you what police sirens and an officer came rushing in. daniel rushes to me over the counter and holds me when i'm trying not to cry. 

i see one of the girls faces relax and be relived. i guess she's the one called the police and i'm so grateful for that and for the boys. they came at the right timing.

the police officer moved him away from us and outside then another officer comes to us. i move to mariah and we all go into a group hug with all the boys.
