part fifteen

i start my car n head out the parking lot. i was gonna put sum music but daniel started talking

daniel: so have you ever been in any relationships?
alex: yeah 3
daniel: how long were they?
alex: the first one i was 16 n it lasted a year. the second one was when i was 18 n it lasted 5 months. the last one was when i was 19 n it lasted 2 years.
daniel: wow so the last one was almost a year ago?
alex: yep

i try not to cry because what happened wit that ex will haunt me for the rest of my life. i guess daniel saw that i was like freaking out so he felt bad

daniel: hey are you okay?
alex: yeah i guess. just that last relationship wasn't the best.
daniel: i'm sorry to hear that
alex; thank you
daniel: i'll always be here if you need to talk
alex: thank you that means so much to me.
daniel: of course. i know we only met yesterday but it feels like we have known each other our whole lives
alex: yeah i feel that too. it's crazy. i feel i like i can trust you.
daniel: same. n you can trust me
alex: i don't give my trust to people that quickly
daniel: well i guess i'll try my hardest to gain your trust
alex: we'll see how that goes
daniel: okay
alex: now imma put my music if you don't mind
daniel: go ahead
alex: it'll be loud
daniel: i like it loud

i put lil tjay on cause duhhh

i start rapping along with the song and daniel is just staring at me...again

alex: second time i caught you staring
daniel: get used to it
alex: oh i already did and i'm loving it
daniel: good

some chase atlantic songs came on and then some why don't we songs came on

honestly we were just screaming the lyrics together to all the songs

then lewis capaldi came on and i just tuned everything out and started singing my soul out

then i heard daniel chime in wit the harmony.

SHITTTT. I TOTALLY FORGOT HE WAS HERE. NOW HE IS GONNA MAKE FUN OF MY SINGING. SHITTTTTTTTTTT. FUCK ME. GOD DAMN IT.

but us singing together sounded really good. probably because daniel is an actual singer. we continued to sing the whole song together. after the song ended, daniel lowered the volume so he can talk to me.

alex: okay go ahead. make fun of my singing.
daniel: make fun of it??!? alex that was amazing. you have an incredible voice. like i didn't not expect you to be that good. like damn girl.
alex: are you serious or joking right now?!
daniel: i'm 100% serious alex. our harmonies were amazing n you have a great voice. you should let others hear it more often
alex: you're lying to me stop
daniel: i'm not stupid. hey you actually do have a good voice. use it someday. people would love it.
alex: wow thanks daniel. that means a lot to me. especially coming from you. i would always be in my room doing harmonies with you
daniel: awe that's cute.
alex: oh shut up. we're here.

i point to the gate. i start to park the street but daniel stops me.

daniel: park inside.
alex: you sure?
daniel: yeah n brian already parked inside haha
alex: he's stupid.

i head to the gate n daniel puts in the code. the gate opens n i park right behind brian's car.

oh to sing with daniel, but my voice actually sucks sooooo
