part fourteen

i look at my planner to see that i need to finish n turn in my photo shoot of myself. i go to my photo album on my macbook n i look at what photos i want to be in my project. this project was taking pictures of myself plus a bit of editing

i scroll through all of my photos n i feel someone staring at me. i look up n make eye contact wit daniel

alex: staring isn't nice
daniel: i'm just admiring you
alex: stop making me blush
daniel: kinda hard not to
alex: hey wanna help me choose sum pictures because i can't choose? i need at least 5 pictures for this project.
daniel: sure

he scoots his chair closer to mine n i move my laptop so the both of us can see. i start at the first picture of me. i look at him to see if he has anything to say but his mouth is just open. it looks like he has heart eyes

daniel: oh my god alex you're gorgeous and you're an amazing photographer. 
alex: thank you daniel

i go through all the rest of the pictures to see which ones he likes. his mouth was open for the whole 10 minutes i was showing him the pictures.

daniel: so i liked the first one, the 3rd one, 7th one n 12th one.
leena: okay thank you. i'll choose the last one. ummmmm. i'll go wit the 9th one.
daniel: good choice. wait i have an idea. guys i have an idea

everyone looks at him confused n intrigued 

zach: okay what is it?
daniel: so alex is an amazing photographer. like look.

he took my macbook n showed them all my pictures.

all the boys: wow she is

daniel gives me back my laptop.

jonah: okay what is your idea?
daniel: well we can tell our managers that alex will be our photographer for instagram n everything else. and we'll tell me that mariah n alex need a place to stay so the guest house will be great of them. how does that sound??
corbyn; i think that it'll work
jack: yeah honestly good one daniel. we'll try it.
mariah: wow alex is this even real or are we in a dream?
alex: i don't know mariah. imma go crazy
both of us: wow

the guys just start laughing like us

alex: okay well i still have to finish my project soooo
daniel: okay okay i'll still help
alex: yay

for the next half hour daniel n i have been planning my project n finishing it up. i put everything on a power point n make it cute n shit. every slide has a picture and a following slide explaining our lesson of the week. another 10 minutes n we finished. i look at daniel n we smile at each other.

alex: would you like to do the honors?
daniel: of course

he hits the submit button. it loads n then says it was successfully turned in on time. i look at daniel n we high five.

alex: we did that
daniel: yes we did
alex: thank you for helping me
daniel: anything for you.
alex: awe you're the cutest
daniel: no you
alex: no you. i've had a crush on you for years now

wait did i actually say that?!?!? SHITTTTT. FUCK ME. UGHHH. FUCKKKK. NOOOOIOII

daniel: is that so?
alex: yep
daniel: hmmmmm
alex: whatever you're thinking, don't.
daniel: you don't even know what i'm thinking
alex: no matter what it is just don't think that
daniel: oh shut up

then i get a text from brian

brian🤮: where are you?
alex💜: at work wit mariah. why?
brian🤮can i come?
alex💜: sure. i'm wit the boys too
brian🤮: as in the why don't we boys?
alex💜: yep
brian🤮: okay omw
alex💜: betttttt

alex: hey y'all my brother is on his way here.
mariah: why does the little twerp wanna come here?
alex: don't act like you're not happy. shut up. and i don't know. he's weird
zach: i like brian. he's chill
the rest of the boys: yeah.
alex: awe that makes me happy that y'all like him. i love the kid
alex: i need to go back to work now tho
daniel: don't leave meeeeeee
alex: oh you'll live

i put my school stuff away n put my back pack in the back.

i was supposed to go back to working but jake insisted on letting finish my school work. i clock back in and go to jake

alex: thank you again for letting me finish my project. now go take your break. you need it.
jake: no problem n okay fine. i'm going now
alex: good.

he clocks out n gets his lunch from his bag n sits down n starts his school work. so far no customers came in so daniel has been standing at the counter talking to me while i'm sitting on the counter. soon brian made it. i get off the counter n go hug him and do our handshake. he goes to the guys. a few hours later n my shift is done. i can leave. so i grab my bag n i go hug jake. i say bye to him n head to the group.

alex: okay i'm done. what do y'all wanna do now?
zach: how bout we go back to our place?
mariah: sure.
brian: i can take some of y'all if you
mariah: i'll come go jonah so daniel can go with alex and the rest of the boys with brian
brian: betttt
alex: ight mariah
mariah: okay meet you guys there.

we head out the coffee shop n get into my car. daniel gets into my camero. i put my backpack in the trunk n then i get into my car.

alex: lemme just text my parents
daniel: okay

alex💜: hi y'all. mariah, brian n i are going to a friends house. if that's okay wit y'all?!
baba🖤: go ahead
mama🖤: jus be careful
alex💜: we will don't worry. i'll text y'all when we make it
mama🖤: okay

alex: i has to ask just in case they don't let us
daniel: haha okay.
alex: anyway let's go. we're the last ones haha
