I have six older brothers
Hanyu
Zihao
Xinlong
Zeyu
Mingrui
and Shuyang

my brothers have always been
very
overprotective of me
it gets kind of annoying at times
but I know its only because they care

today I went to school as usual
but tonight I'm sneaking out
and meeting up with my boyfriend
my brothers dont know
but I do this all the time
if they knew I had a boyfriend
they might get mad
so I keep it a secret

I take out an outfit
(one they probably wouldn't approve)
and open my window
just as I'm about to jump down
my bedroom door opens

Hanyu is standing right there
arms crossed
"and just where
do you think you're going?"

"uh.. uh to uh get chocolate?"
have I mentioned I'm bad at lying?
I laugh nervously
knowing he didnt buy it

more faces pop up in my doorway
now they're all here

and he takes it

I look over his shoulder
hes going through my contacts
when he sees his

he says something

I'm touched, but sadly for you
it wont save you"
he continues scrolling
then he finds my boyfriend
[Zhang😘]
he taps it
and texts him
"wait! what are you doing?!"
he ignores me and continues
he texts him

y/n:
I'm breaking up with you

then, he blocks Zhang
"why would you do that?!"
I start crying

Zihao shrugs it off
"he would have hurt you eventually.
I'm just saving you"

he starts to walk out of my room
"Zhiao Ge, dont you think that was
a little bit harsh?"
I hear Zeyu say softly

"no. i dont."
my bedroom door shuts
they're gone.

it's been a few hours probably
I havent left my room

suddenly i hear a knock on my door
"go away.." I mumble

"can I please come in?"
i recognize the voice
that's Mingrui
I was going to say go away again
but then I remembered
he was silent the whole time earlier
maybe he felt bad?
"come in.."

I hear the door open
but I dont lift my head
"hey..
you okay?
I know they were tough on you"
I feel him sit down next to me

"I'm fine"

"i can tell when you're lying"
he chuckles slightly
"I know it's tough but
they were just looking out for you,
you know that right?"

"I know."
i say this as i roll over
"its just kind of annoying sometimes
you feel me?"

"yeah I get it
they weren't as bad with me
but they used to be protective of me
I mostly wasnt allowed to date"

"oh..
so they'll stop one day?"

"yeah"

"I guess I'll just wait then"

"good idea"

i sit up and hug him
"thank you Mingrui"
