01 - Rescuing and getting to know him

Taehyung's POV

Kookie and I walked out of BigHit and into the van that was going to take us home, while we were driving Kookie and I were talking about getting a hybrid on the way home, so I had him tell the others that I was going to be adopting one on the way home. A while latter we got everyone's okay. About a half hour later I notice this very small looking hybrid get physically kicked out a door and I told the camera man to record it and decided that I was gonna help them. "Hey can you stop the car!" I half yelled to the driver, he stopped and I jumped out of the van and walked over to the man who was beating the poor boy. "Hey, what do you think you're doing?!" I said in a very venomous voice.
"It doesn't concern you, he's a stray so he doesn't need to exist." The man said kind of sickeningly. "If he's a stray them I'm claiming him, so back off!" I was trying to do this with words, surprisingly the man just laughed menacingly and literally threw him at me and said "fine take the worthless piece of shit." I held on to the poor boy and took him back to the van.

Jungkook's POV

On the way home Tae suddenly told the cameraman to film outside the van and told the driver to stop. I was about ask why but when he jumped out of the van I could see what he was doing. It took him a few minutes but the hybrid eventually got thrown at him and he just ran back to the van. "Is he okay? Tae?" I asked him.

Tae's POV

Kook asked me if he was ok. "I don't know kook. But he's in a lot of pain and he looks like he hasn't eaten properly in a long time." I answered him while cuddling the unconscious young hybrid to my chest.

We arrived at home and I told Jungkook to tell the rest what happened while I took care of the fragile hybrid. I needed to wake him up but I didn't want to because of the dark circles under his eyes, *sigh* " hey little one can you wake up for me please?" I asked as I shook him slightly. He jumped up and started apologizing for falling asleep. "Hey, hey you're okay I'm not gonna hurt you, sleeping is a normal thing to do so your fine." I reassured him.
"R-really I-I can sleep?" He asked softly as if he was afraid of saying the wrong thing.
"Yup, sleep is good for you, I was gonna let you sleep longer but you need a bath and something to eat." I told him but he looked even more scared. "Do you... do you know what a bath is?" I questioned.
"Isn't that w-were y-you s-s-spray me with a-a hose... ?" He asked shakily.
"A HOSE?!? (He flinched at the raise of voice), oh I didn't mean to yell I'm sorry I'm just surprised, but no a bath is when you go into the tub and sit in the water to clean off." I explained he looked at me in confusion. "It's not going to be painful, I promise.... oh! I didn't even introduce myself.. my name is Taehyung, what's yours?" I asked "m-m-my n-n-name????"
He looked at my in confusion "I-I don't h-have one....." he said sadly. "Hmmm how about I think of one for you? I mean if you want." I suggested "Really??? You'd do that for m-me?" He asked excitedly. "Yes, yes I would but for now we need to get you a nice bath, can you become your animal form, for me please?" I asked him softly and he just nodded his head, next thing I know there's a small dirty puppy that looks like a Samoyed sitting in front of me. "Bark once if I can pick you up and twice if not" "Bark." He's letting me pick him up... yaaay. I carried him to the bathroom while praising him. When we entered I started the shower, which startled him and he started whimpering. "Sh, sh it's okay it's not gonna hurt you but it will help me clean you better, I promise, can you trust me?" I reassured him and asked him while petting him lightly, he just licked my face so I took that as the okay to put him in the tub after checking to make sure the water was just right.

After the puppies shower I dried his animal form and asked him to change back to him human-ish form, which he did but his hands were in front of him "I'll start the bath after I was your hair... ok?" He just nodded. He stepped in and kneeled down so I could wash his hair. " can I wash your ears and tail or do you want to do that?" I asked " Y-you c-can do I-it." He gave me permission to do it so I very carefully washed his ears and tail and then told him that I was gonna start the bath "do you want bubbles in the bath with you?" I asked him " BUBBLES?!?!" He replied in a normal volume which I assume is his yelling, I chuckled and nodded my head. He looked so pure and innocent and I just wanted to squish his cheeks. "Ooo I thought of a name!" He looked at my excitedly and I herd a slight thumping sound and noticed that it was his tail wagging, "yup I'm gonna call you Kuma, it Japanese for Bear." I finished with a smile, and felt a wet hug around my neck, "Thank you Tae." He said and the he started to panic, which confused me. "What's wrong?" I asked " I g-got your shirt wet... I'm sorry... I'm so stupid... I'm sorry." Kuma said partly to me and partly to himself, but him calling himself stupid aggravated me. "Hey it's alright it's just water, it'll dry... And NEVER call yourself stupid, your aren't stupid, you were happy which is okay, you're allowed to be happy, okay?" I told him and I received a sniffle and a smiley nod. " well okay then. Let's get you dried up and then we can meet the rest of the people who live here, but there's seven of us so do you want to meet them all at once or 2 at a time?" I asked Kuma what he wanted to do. "A-all of them please." He responded softly. " I promise they will love you. Okay?" He nodded so I picked him up and he snuggled into my neck, I almost walked out when I realized, Kuma needed clothes. " wait you need clothes. I'll ask Jimin to bring you a pair of boxers and a hoodie, I think you're to skinny for anyone's pants sizes... I'm sorry about that." He looked confused before nodding. I rung Jimins phone and he answered wondering why I didn't just walk downstairs, " hey jiminie-hyung, can you bring me a pair of boxers and one of your hoodies please, Kuma doesn't have any clothes and is too skinny for pants at the moment." I asked Jimin and he said to give him a second. I hung up and turned to Kuma and told him that he was gonna meet Jimin first cause he's being the clothes, he just nodded ... he's probably tired and nervous. "Are you tired baby?" I asked him and he hugged harder and nodded. Just then I heard a knock at the door I knew it was Jimin so I told him to come in, when he came in he looked at Kuma and frowned, but I could tell it wasn't out of hatred or anything like that but more like concern. " Hey buddy, I brought you a worm hoodie and boxers. Can I see you face please?" Jimin asked him, and I patted his thigh telling him it was ok, Kuma turned his head slightly but enough that Jimin could see his face. " awww you're so cute." Jimin cooed at Kuma.  Kuma smiled at him and mumbled a thank you before making grabby hands towards the clothes. " are you cold?" I asked and he nodded I turned around and placed him on the floor, I slid the boxers up and put the hoodie on, and then picked him back up after he made grabby hands towards me. "There we go, all dressed, let's go meet the others. Ya?" I said and told Jimin to tell the others that he was shy and to be calm around him, Jimin nodded and went to tell the others. I left the bathroom and went to the living room where everyone was, they all turned to look towards me, Kuma shy'd away into my neck and the others notice but followed me with their eyes as I sat down. "Hey baby can you introduce yourself for me?" I asked him he nodded and turned slightly towards the others " H-h-hi m-my n-name I-I-is Kuma, and I just got that name t-today." He told them his name and smiled after saying that he got it today. Then Jin-hyung asked " what do you mean you got your name today?" " Tae Tae gave it to me c-cause I d-didn't h-have one before..." he got quieter towards the end but everyone still heard him. " oh? Well that was very nice of him." Jin said with a smile and Kuma just nodded excitedly, with a smile on his face. After a few minutes Joonie hyung spoke up and said that everyone should introduce themselves. " hello my name is Jin, and I'm the oldest." Jin said " hello I am Yoongi, I'm the second oldest." Yoongi said but then Hobi got interrupted when Kuma said "Yoonie!" While making grabby hands towards him. I looked at Kuma confused.
"Do want Yoongi-hyung to hold you?" He nodded rapidly. I handed him to Yoongi after getting his approval.

Yoongi's POV

After I introduced myself Kuma yelled "Yoonie" while making grabby hands towards me I was really confused but also cooing at the way he said my name. Tae asked him if he wanted me to hold which he nodded at. Then Tae looked at me, waiting for me answer I just shrugged and nodded at him. He handed me Kuma, who clung to my neck. "Hey buba, why did you wanna sit with me?" I asked him he slumped slight which confused me more.
" cause you seemed comfy..." he said in a somewhat disappointed tone. Was I supposed to know something? For the rest of the members introductions he seemed to only pay attention to everyone's names before spacing out. I looked towards Tae who held the same confusion and he shrugged.

Kuma's POV

I was sad that he didn't remember me but I guess I look a lot different and have ears and a tail now, also my hair is white-ish instead of black now so I don't look the same anymore. While the others were introducing themselves I really only paid attention to everyone's names before thinking again. The next thing I know is Tae trying to pick me up, so on instinct I clung to Yoongi, almost chocking him in the process.

Tae's POV

As I tried to pick up Kuma he clung to Yoongi I looked at Yoongi. " what's wrong buba, why aren't you letting Tae pick you up?" Yoongi questioned him and he just sighed and put his arms up. Ok that's kinda confusing I'll talk to Kuma about it after he eats something. "Alright it's time for food, then we can sleep." I told him and he nodded while staring towards Yoongi with a hurt look in his eyes.
