Chapter 6

Degun's House.....

It was a bright morning. Gungun was preparing the breakfast. Dev was playing with Shivika. He was giving horse riding on his back to her. After giving instructions to the to the servants Gungun goes to them.

"Chalo bahut khel liya baap-beti ne. Ab chalo kha lo." Gungun said.

"Nahi na mom! Mujhe aur khelna hai. Bahut maza aa raha hai. Dad ab aap mom ko bhi ride do na." Shivika said childishly.

"Nahi Dev main gir jaaungi." Gungun said.

Shivika got down from his back. Dev stood up.

"Tumaari mom ko to special ride dunga." Dev said with a smile.

"Kon si?" Shivika asked excitedly.

Dev took Gungun in his arms. He began to rotate her. Gungun was saying to put her down but she was enjoying. Both of them started laughing. Shivika was happy to see both of them like this. She clicked their photos. Dev was continously rotating her. Both of them were looking in their eyes. Suddenly Gungun cried loudly. Dev made her sit on the sofa.

"Kya hua kitten? Are you OK?" Dev asked worriedly.

"Lagta hai mouch aa gayi. Aaahhh! Bahut dard ho raha hai." Gungun said in pain.

"Mom!" Shivika ran towards her.

Shivika put her foot on her knee. She began to tilt in but she can't do with one hand.

"Dad niche baito. Mom ka paav apni knees par rakho." Shivika said.

Both of them looked at Shivika shockly.

"Ab aise kya dekh rahe ho dono? Dad unka foot rakho na jaldi. Mom ko dard ho raha hai." Shivika said.

Dev put her foot on his knees and hold it as instructed by Shivika. She tilted Gungun's foot softly. Gungun felt relaxed. Her pain was gone. Dev put her foot on sofa and gave a massage.

"Ye tumne kaise kiya shiv?" Gungun asked shockly.

"Umm.... Pata nahi! Aisa laga jaise mujhe ye aata hai aur main kar diya." Shivika said innocently.

"Dev! Tumain nahi lagta saayad iski memory aa rahi hai." Gungun said doubtfully.

"Haan saayad! Hum kal hi doctor ke pass jaayenge. Kal ki appointment hai na. Wahaan sab pata chal jaayega." Dev said.

While massaging Dev gave a kiss to Gungun. She started blushing.

"Tum na sudharna mat!" Gungun said dramatically.

"Na bilkul nahi! Arey itni beautiful wife ko pyaar karna koi galat baat nahi hai! Accha wo sab chodo ye bataao ab dard kaisa hai?" Dev asked.

"Better! Dev ek baat bolu?" Gungun asked.

"Haan bolo na!" Dev said.

"Us din ke liye sorry Dev! I promise ab se kabhi tum par shaq nahi karungi." Gungun said feeling guilty.

Dev stopped massaging her suddenly. He eyes became teary and he hugged her tightly. Gungun can't understand anything. She got worried.

"Shaq karna ho to kar lena kitten but wo mat karna jo uss din kiya tha. Kabhi mujhe chod kar mat jaana. I don't want to loose you. Uss din main darr gaya tha ki kahin tumain kho na du. Tumain pata hai jab tak tumain hosh nahi aaya mera ek ek pal pahaar jaisa beet raha tha." Dev said emotionally.

"I promise kabhi nahi jaaungi tumain chod ke. Tum to meri jaan ho." Gungun said while looking into his eyes.

Shivika was happy about both of them. The bond between Dev and Gungun were becoming stronger day by day. All the misunderstandings had vanished.

Meanwhile Ardil and Shivika also became good friends. Shivika started liking Ardil. Ardil used to visit her regularly and they spent lot of time together.

One day Shivika was playing in Gungun's room. She saw a album of Degun's marriage. She took it to Gungun and started asking questions about it.

"Mom ye aap dono kya kar rahe ho?" Shivika said innocently.

"Ye hamaari shaadi ki photos hai." Gungun said.

"Shaadi kya hoti hai?" Shivika asked.

"Shaadi! Haan! Jab koi ladka aur ladki ek dusre ko pasand karte hai aur acche dost ban jaate hai. Uske baad dono main pyaar ho jaata hai fir wo zindgi bhar saath rehne ka faisla karte hai to shaadi kar lete hai jaise maine aur tere dad ne ki thi. Ab hum hamesha ek dusre ke saath rahenge." Gungun said.

"Mom pyaar kya hota hai?" Shivika asked.

"Pyaar! Jab hum kisi ki parwaah khud se jyaada karte hai. Uske baare main sochte rahe aur hamesha khud se pehle uski khushi ka khayaal rakhe, use pyaar kehte hai." Gungun said.

"Jaise aap aur dad! Hai na mom? Mom to kya Ardil uncle bhi mujhse pyaar karte hai? Hum dono ki bhi shaadi hogi?" Shivika asked innocently.

Gungun's Pov starts.....

"Kaash main tujhe bata paati Shiv! Ardil hi nahi tu bhi usse utna hi pyaar karti hai. Dono ek dusre par apni jaan vaarte ho."

Gungun's Pov ends.....

"Haan haan bilkul ho sakti hai. Par bade ho kar. Baccho ki shaadi nahi hoti. Samjhi!" Gungun said.

"Main jab badi hongi to wo to buddhe ho jaayenge. Fir wo bilkul acche nahi lagenge." Shivika said.

"Tab bhi tu Ardil se utna hi pyaar karegi aur kabhi uska saath nahi chodegi." Gungun said slowly.

Her eyes became teary. She recalled whole incident of confrence night. Shivika saw her and she understood the reason of her tear. She also wanted to hug her and cry a lot but she controlled herself. She turned her face and took a deep breath.

"Kya hua mom? Aap ro kyu rahi ho?" Shivika asked.

"Kuch nahi! Bas kuch yaad aa gaya tha." Gungun said wiping her tears.

"Mom ye dekho! Aap kitni khush lag rahi ho yahaan. Kya shaadi aise hi karte hai? Aur dad zameen par kaise baite hai. Unhe to baitha bhi nahi aata." Shivika said while laughing.

Shivika showed that photo to her. In that picture Dev was proposing her.

"Arey nahi re paglet! Wo mujhe propose kar raha hai shaadi ke liye. Haan main uss din bahut khush thi." Gungun said.

She was lost in her thoughts. She began to recall how Dev had proposed her for marriage when she was studying law.
