Shivika prepares a surprise for her best friend Gungun on her birthday. But that day everything has changed with an accident.

"I don't believe ki uss wahiyaat prani ne jaate jaate mom ko dhamki di thi. Wo mere life ka best day tha. Uss din finally macchar meri zindgi se baahar hamesha hamesha ke liye." Gungun said happily.
Wow mom! Maza aa gaya! Accha uske baad kya hua? Aur aapki wo chain waali dost kon thi? Abhi wo kahaan hai?" Shivika asked.
Gungun used another identity to address Shivika in flashback so Shivika don't know that Gungun was talking about her only.
"Wo ek surprise hai. Time aane par bataaungi uss dost ke baare main." Gungun said.
"Accha uske baad kya hua?" Shivika asked.
"Uske baad Shivika ja chuki thi. Usne apne parents ya kisi aur ko kuch nahi bataaya. Yahaan pa Anish uncle yaani Dev ke dad se milne chaahte the." Gungun said.
"Dad ne to kitten ko dekhte hi pasand kar liya tha." Dev said.
Flashback starts.....
Dev goes to Ahemdabad to visit his dad. He told him everything about Gungun. He showed her photo. He requested him to go Amritsar and meet Gungun's parents.
"Chokri to saras che. Mane pasand che. (The girl is beautiful. I liked her.) Accha ab bata jaana kab hai?" Anish asked.
"Thanks dad! You are the best dad in the world. I love you." Dev said hugging him.

He showed the tickets.
"Hum kal hi jaayenge. Maine aapka saamaan pack kar diya hai." Dev said with happiness.
"Gando! Bada betaab hai Gungun se milne ke liye. Accha sun main kuch dunga wo bhi pack kar le. Main soch raha tha agar rishta pakka ho gaya to teri Chandelo Matli bhi wahin kar de." Anish said.
"I love you so much dad." Dev said with happiness. ______________________________________
Both of them reached Amritsar the next day. Manish welcomed them. They were talking. Gungun and her mother brought snacks for them. Then they also sat with them.
"To ye hai hamaari beti." Manish said.
"Bahut sundar hai. Tasveer dikhaai thi Dev ne aur utni hi sanskaari bhi." Anish said.
"Thank you uncle." Gungun said.
"Dono bacche ek dusre ko pasand karte hai aur saath zindgi bitaana chaahte hai. Mujhe aapka ladka pasand hai. Ab aap apna faisla bata dijiye." Manish said.
"Ji hamain bhi aapki beti pasand hai. Meri taraf se bhi rishta pakka." Anish said.
All of them were happy. Liza brought sweets for all. Gungun blussed and ran inside.
"Lagta hai sharma gayi. Accha Rawal ji isse pehle ki baat aage bade. Main kuch kehna chaahta hu." Manish said.
Dev and Anish looked him confusingly.
"Main chaahta hu ki pehle Gungun apni padhaai puri karke apne pairo par khadi ho jaaye tabhi hum shaadi karenge. Aapka ladka bahut accha hai par aapko meri iss baat se aitraaz hai to mujhe maaf kijiye." Manish said.
"Ji nahi hamain koi aitraaz nahi hai balki main to aapke vichaaro sekhush hua. Aap jaisa baap har ladki jo mile. Lekin hamaari bhi ek shart hai. Aakir hum bhi ladke waale hai." Anish said seriously.
All of them were shocked as they thought Anish will ask about the dowry.
"Dad! But aap!" Dev tried to speak but Anish stopped him.
"Haan to Mr khurana! Meri shart ye hai ki aap abhi aur isi waqt Dev ki Chadoli Matli kar de taaki ab se hamaara beta aapka ho jaaye." Anish said with a smile.
Dev was blussing and smiling. Here Gungun who was watching all this from her room's window and her parents were confused. They can't understand anything.
"Uncle! Ye hamaare yahaan ka ritual hai jo rishta pakka hone ke baad ladki ke father karte hai apne hone waale damaad ke liye." Dev explained.
"Oh! Accha! Sorry but hamain pata nahi hai ye kaise karte hai aur hamne to koi taiyaari bhi nahi ki hai na hi koi guest hai." Manish said worriedly.
"Aap fikr mat kijiye Mr khurana hum puri taiyaari ke saath aaye hai." Anish said.
He send Dev to bring all the stuffs from car. He also instructed Manish to gather four males from neighborhood.
"Waise to ye rasam ladke ke ghar par hoti hai lekin main ise yahin karna chaahta tha taaki aap logo ko koi takleef na ho aur rishta bhi pakka ho jaaye." Anish said.
"Thik hai aap bataate jaaye hum karte hai." Manish and Liza said.
The ritual start. Manish made a chandelo on dev's forehead. Chandelo is basically a red coloured circle made in the center of forehead. After that the other four people repeated the same procedure. Then the shagun were exchanged from the both sides as the token of love. Manish gave his diamond ring which he wore in his hand.
"Sorry beta! Pata nahi tha ki aap yaahan aake koi ritual bhi karoge isliye abhi yahi de sakta hu." Manish said.
"Uncle aap aise mat kahiye ye bhi to aapka aasheerwaad hi hai." Dev said.
Gungun was seeing all this and she was really happy. Her happiness can be seen on her face. Liza called her. Anish gave her a set of golden braclet (kangan) to her. She accepted it with a smile.
"Ye kangan Dev ki ma ke hai. Aaj se ye tumaare." Anish said.
"Thanks dad! I mean uncle." Gungun said hesitatly.
"No it's OK beta! Tum mujhe dad keh sakti ho. God bless you." Anish said.
Dev and Gungun then took blessings from all the elderly people present there. After that all the decisions regarding marriage was taken. It was decided that the marrige will be going to happen according to both tradition that is Hindu as well as Christian. Manish made announcement of ring ceremony which was going to happen in the holidays of next semester.
