Chapter 9

After seeing the teachers finish evacuating people, Shin shouted calling their attention

"Young man! We have already told everyone to evacuate to prevent any more damage!"

"It's my classmate Glen. He suddenly went berserk and my servant got caught up in it. So please hurry up and restrain him."

Shin asking calmly, but in a stern tone

The teachers became stiff for a moment

"Crazed state..." One of them muttered

"Is your servant injured?" Another teacher asked

"No. So I'll be the one to take care of him." Shin said

"Okay. Go get him right now. Everyone else, head for the rooftop!"

They urgently ran while Shin followed them behind along the way and turned to through another path.

He was panting a little from all the dodging earlier.

There he saw Ren sleeping with his back against the wall.

Shin just sighed and checked Ren to see if he's okay.

'There aren't any physical wounds, so it seems that he was just exauhsted'

As he was checking Ren's mana, he realized

His mana... he doesn't have any left

'that skill before must be related to it'

".... can't I just drag his body to the infirmary?"

'The teachers would restrain Glen, so it should be safe to just drag him but...'

Shin imagined his mom founding out about him dragging Ren and shivered

He couldn't help but sigh.

I never thought I'd have to give a piggyback ride to a man. I would've preferred giving one to Aria.

It was a little hard for Shin to carry him since they had a similar build and Ren was taller than him so it bugged him.

The travel to the infirmary was obviously silent.

Shin was almost to the infirmary room

'just a bit more...'

Now he was the one panting a lot

As he was nearing more and more to the destination, he felt some movement from Ren

"...Ren Civan?"

He didn't get a response

Instead, the arms around his neck slightly tightened in a soft squeeze

"Pillow..." Ren muttered

"..."

Shin was silent and when he arrived, he layed Ren down on the bed while he sat for a while to rest.

Shin stared at Ren for a second

'How did this Ren Civan know I was in trouble?'

'he doesn't seem hostile, but he still seems suspicious'

Being tired himself, he layed down on the bed and eventually dozed off at one point

Ren was in a deep sleep at this point. Although he did feel something against his chest and something holding him just below his thighs.
