I ran desperately back to the forest, my adrenaline kicked into me like crazy.
They're nowhere to be seen, I was all panicky when a place in the forest suddenly popped into my mind. I didn't know why but I trusted it with all my guts and dashed to where that is.
"Help! Please help!" It was a kid's crying voice.
I hid immediately at the bush near and peeped from where I was at.
"Shout all you want, nobody's gonna hear you anyway," A man covered in black clothes said and laughed with his partner.
One. Two. There are two assassins, just like the information in the book. I checked their weapons and I noticed that only one of them has a weapon and its a knife.
Okay, assasin number 1 has no weapon and assasin number 2 has.
Hang in there kid.
I checked my hood if the needles were still attached and when I confirmed it, I pulled out a straw and placed the needle inside. It was a thicker needle that I bought from the capital's market, thicker than the needles in the slave store.
I aimed it at the assasin number 2's nape and as soon as I blowed the straw, the needle peirced directly to the correct artillery that made him drop unconscious in the ground.
I watched them all closely.
Assasin number 1 was dumbfounded at first then he panicked and squatted to check his companion.
Wrong move boy.
As soon as he turned around at my direction, I also shot him with a needle, and bull's eye.
They were both lying on the ground peacefully sleeping.
Goodjob again, me.
I made my way out of the bush to the assasins and inspected the position of the needle.
"Who are you?" I turned around and saw the kid who caused me a lot of anxiety and sleepless nights for weeks.
And I freeze down at my spot when I met his eyes.
Its Guy.
Guy. Corcallon. Pardaillan de Gondrin.
But it's a kid version.
My whole body is hyperventilating. My eyes widened for a second because of all the excitement gushing inside me.
He's really real. In a split second, my heart felt so warm after seeing him. Finally, a familiar face.
Even though I always imagined how his face would look like, now that I saw it, I don't exactly know how to feel.
"Oh. My. God." Was the only words that escaped my mouth.
He tilted his head while staring at me with eyes full of admiration and curiosity.
He. Is. So.
A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E.
I stared at him too much and I didn't notice that he already pulled my hood down. I backed away from him covered my face right away and turned around to put my hood back.
"You're being rude to the person who saved you." I said as I turned back around to face him.
He was looking down then mumbled some words I didn't understand.
"What did you say?" I asked.
He looked back up in to my eyes then pouted. "I said I was sorry."
"You are forgiven." I answered back arrogantly that made him frown.
I then giggled at how cute this kid was infront of me.
