When everything was done, Papa and me were the only ones left inside the office. We talked everything out then made up after.
The next day, everyone in the Household was aware of what happened the other day and congratulated me and called me a genius. I just thanked them before going to the training ground.
Just like back at the Mansion, the guards officially welcomed me as a trainee and when I finished my tasks, Alexander asked for me in his office.
"Young miss, are you aware of how the knight's training system works?" He asked.
"I have a little clue, but would you please elaborate ir clearly?"
"While the Duke gave you permission to take training to be an official knight, the training won't take place here at this House. You will be sent and exchanged to another Household that also trains knights, and that is why the Duke is too worried to agree on the thought of you being a knight." He explained.
"I see, so what you're saying is that while I'm training under another residence, you cannot guarantee that other knights will treat me equally?" I concluded.
Alexander sighed and nodded then explained some more. The boom wasn't as detailed like this so it helps that he made it more clear to me.
I heard that Papa went to the Palace to pass the report, that's why Maman and me were the only ones who ate at the dining hall for breakfast.
All I can say is that everything became lively again.
I spent most of my time taking a nap and took back the sleep I deserved. How refreshing, I may have been too stressed with the past intense months that I have to go through quietly to prove myself.
My mind feels so at ease right now, it's really good that Papa and me have come to an understanding.
Now that I think about it, it feels like I forgot something important.
As soon as I woke up, I went directly to the library to open my notes to write what recently happened. I made it look more like a journal for me to follow up all the current happenings.
When I was done writing, I tried reading the part where I talked with Hugo in the ball. Since I met him already, it seems like I need to meet the others to. Like the genius swordsman who passed the knight test at the age of 7 and especially the one 'who' originally solved the drought.
My, AFY's main character really rounded up the most genius out of the geniuses to make then an ally. What a smart boy, back in the novel, 'they' were secretly called the 'Four Heavenly Angels' by noble women who admires them so much.
When I say 'they', I was talking about Guy, Hugo and the other two prodigies I haven't met yet.
They weren't called with that nickname for nothing. I remembered meeting Hugo's 'child version', since he was more younger than the novel's timeline, was already enough to make me faint. I feel like the presence of those four in a single place would cause a ruckus.
Speaking of Hugo, I recall that he still owes me a favor.
Oh my, it had been half a year. I haven't contacted him since then. How could I forget that? I must've been too focused on persuading Papa.
I then called Marie.
"Do you need anything young miss?"
"Could you bring me some stationary paper, an envelope and a pen?" I asked.
"You're gonna write a letter for someone, young miss?" She asked so I just smiled at her.
Marie left the room then came back with what I asked for.
