As the two entered the room they were handed a folder that held their license with a unique serial number to identify them. They took their seats in the front of the room as more people entered the room. Ayami saw the glances of Kurapika and Leorio gazing at her with curiosity. She sighed and threw her head back hitting the table behind her. After a couple of minutes had passed, everyone arrived into the room except for Gon. After Netero and the examiners had arrived, he shut the doors behind him and went to the front of the room to reintroduce himself.

Suddenly, the doors slammed open revealing Gon with a bandaged arm. Everyone turned around except for Illumi, who was Gon's target. Ayami stared at him and saw the passion and anger in his eyes as he slowly made his way towards them. She slightly smiled at him, and he stared back in confusion, than realization of who she was. He finally reached the two facing Illumi who still hadn't turned to look. There was a brief moment of silence before Gon started talking.

"Apologize to Killua!" He yelled.

Illumi slowly turned up to Gon. "Apologize? For what?"

"Geez I don't know, maybe for being an ass to him?" Ayami said slapping a hand to her forehead. Gon nodded in agreement before speaking up again.

"You don't know what you did wrong?" Gon asked quieter.

"Nope." He answered not interested and turning away.

"You don't have the right to be his brother." Gon said clenching his fist tighter.

"Must I earn the right to be his brother?" Illumi said glancing at Ayami. Oh, here he comes. Gon reached and grabbed Illumi's arm and forced him to stand with an iron grip on his forearm. Illumi landed rather gracefully with his hair softly going back into place as everyone else looked on with shock at Gon's sudden boldness and strength. Ayami felt Illumi's annoyance behind his plain face.

"He doesn't need to earn the right tot be my friend!" Gon shouted.  Illumi's face quickly changed with that of surprise as Gon tightened his grip around his arm subtly breaking it in the process. Ayami shifted in her seat as she saw her brother's arm break. He's dealt with worse, but this is pretty bold of him. She met his gaze and seemed to relax at her worried face. Bitch. Just cause I feel sorry for you now, doesn't mean I forgive you. She thought as she glared back. This boy is... Illumi started thinking before being interrupted by Gon's voice.

"Don't bother apologizing. Just take me to see Killua." Gon said looking back and forth at Illumi and Ayami.

"Ok."

"No."

Ayami and Illumi turned and looked at each other after speaking at the same time. She shrugged and he sighed looking back at Gon. "What will you do then?"

"That should be obvious... I'm gonna rescue Killua!" Gon yelled.

"You make it sound as though I kidnapped him... He walked away on his own." Illumi said.

"But it wasn't by choice. He was being manipulated by you. It's the same thing as kidnapping him!" He answered back. Ayami looked at him fascinated in how fast he figured that out. It's Nen but how he did it is the question...

"We'll be happening to discuss this very subject right now, Gon. Kurapika and Leorio have nothing lodged complaints. The committee has been discussing the fairness of Killua's disqualification." Netero said speaking up.
