"Tell me again why I couldn't just teleport us?!" I shouted as Beast Boy recklessly drove his moped down the underwater road to the city.
"This is more fun!" He yelled back.
My grip tightened around his waist as he shifted into turbo mode. I blame Cyborg for upgrading the vehicle that shouldn't even go above 30 miles per hour.
"You okay, Rae?"
"Stop calling me that!" I growled.
"I've been calling you 'Rae' all day!" He defended.
"...no you haven't."
"Yea," he laughed. "I have"
My cheeks became tinted with a streak of red. How did I not notice?
'You know you love it when he calls you that!' Happy squealed.
'Shh!' Knowledge scolded. 'We cannot interfere right now!'
"Hello?? Raven?!" Beast Boy's voice snapped me back into reality.
"What?"
"As much as I really like having you hug me, I thought you might actually want to see the bookstore, since we are, ya know, here." He pointed his finger towards an antique book store and smiled at me.
"Oh."
I never wanted for my cloak as much as I did right now.
