Chapter 14

" Don't worry Liam. I'm used to misfortune. Getting it from Maya does nothing to me."

" But this has nothing to do with you Haz. I spoke to Mr. Henry myself."

" But it started from my problems. Anyone close to me gets unlucky as well. I think it's better if you keep your distance from me. Before your family is destroyed because of me."

" But Haz I think-" Liam did not finish the sentence as his phone goes off.
It was Maya who was calling.

" Hello Maya. I'm around the movie set. Is there something? Huh? Zayn's head was smashed? And is he alright?" This seems to catch Harry's attention as he looked curiously at Liam with horror.

Zayn slowly opened his eyes to see that he was in the hospital bed. Louis and Yolanda were sitting beside him.

" Auntie...." he called with a weak voice.
Yolanda looked up " Zayn! How are you?" she asked with concern.

" What happened?" Zayn asked.

" Some locals found you and brought you to the hospital." Louis said. " Hey...do you remember who attacked you?"

Zayn thought for a second and remembered how the two goons beat him up.
" I don't know them. All I know is they want me to stop investigating the case." Zayn answered.

" The case you're doing is affecting people's profit. And is there a specyific case you think they're talking about?" Louis asked.

" I was attacked after speaking to the parking lot employee. Which case do you think I should suspect the most" Zayn asked but already knew the answer. Then, he got up from the hospital bed and dressed up.

" Zayn! Wait! You're still hurt!"
" Zayn!" Louis and Yolanda tried to stop him.

Then Maya and Liam entered the hospital.
" Zee where are you going? You're in a condition like this.... Is the doctor letting you leave? Doctor?!" Maya tried to call the doctor but Zayn stopped him.
" Maya! No need. I need to get the person who think they're above the law arrested." Zayn said and tried to leave again but they all stopped him again.

" Your attack has nothing to do with Harry Styles." Louis said.

" And how are you so confident? Huh?!" Zayn asked grabbing Louis by his collar.

" Because the case you're investigating has no effect on Harry anymore. The inquiry officials and the attorney has charged Stefan as the driver who hit Gigi." Louis responded.

" What did you say?"

" Accept it Zee. We have no evidence and nothing to get Harry arrested." Zayn knew Louis was telling the truth but it was hard to accept it as he only wants justice. " It's over Zayn." Louis said patting his shoulder.

" No I won't allow it." Zayn said and shrugged Louis's hand off his shoulder and started walking.

" Zayn!" "Zayn!" "Zayn! Don't go!" They all followed him and tried to stop him.

" Zayn! Don't go!" Yolanda said grabbing Zayn's hand.

" Auntie...let Zee go see the police." Maya interrupted. " Stefan isn't the real driver who hit Gigi with the car. I don't understand how the police can send that inquiry to the attorney. Let's go Zee. I'll take you myself!" She said and tried to take Zayn with her but Liam stopped her.

" Maya! Maya wait! How can you go huh? Don't you see Zayn's condition? If he goes like this, he'll black out before reaching the station." Liam said.

" Liam, are you worried about Zayn or your actor? Huh?"

" Now isn't the time for this!" Liam yelled at Maya.

" STOP!" Yolanda yelled fed up of the chaos. Then she walked to Zayn
" Zayn...we can't do anything anymore. Don't be so dogmatic. Just stop." She pleads crying.

" I can't stop Auntie. I have to do it for Gi... I have to do it for her until the end." He said and tried to enter the elevator.

" Zayn! Stop right now! Zayn!" Yolanda stopped him. " Gi isn't with us anymore. No matter how much you try.... Gi will never come back to us. I know you love her so much. You're trying to find the truth but I want you to love yourself too. If Gi was still here she'd beg for you to stop." she cried her eyes out. " I already lost a daughter...." she said lifting Zayn's chin with her hands " don't let me lose a son as well....."

" Auntie......"

" Hello right now, I, Gigi Hadid am not available. I must be sleeping. Please leave a message and when I wake up I'll immediately return the call." Zayn sobbed listening to Gigi's voicemail.

"I can give other's justice but I can't give you justice Gi.... I'm sorry...." Zayn thought to himself and sobbed uncontrollably.

" Hello.....Simon!" Harry said excitedly when finally found Simon in the garden.

" Oh..... Hey I understand that I look like a kid but you don't have to buy me candy like this." Simon said gesturing to the bags Harry brought.

" These are for the kids over at Auntie Yolanda's house. You'll give it to her like usual alright?"

" Hey! You can drive from so far but as soon as you reached here, you're handicap and can't walk?" Simon questioned.

" I'm not handicap but if I brought it over myself Auntie Yolanda won't accept it." Harry stated as a matter of fact.

" Hey! Do you know that I bought candy over to Yolanda's house until the neighbors are gossiping now that I like Yolanda? It's embarrassing."

Harry chuckled "That's your karma. If you had a wife they wouldn't gossip."

" Hey.... suddenly you're blaming my heritage?" Simon faked offense.

" Please.... Simon. I will mop the house, wash the laundry, do the dishes and cook. Please." Now Simon cannot say no to that, can he?

Zayn arrived at the Hadid's house. The children saw him and greeted
" Hello Mr. Zee!" altogether.

" Hello!" He said smiling at them.

" Zayn?" Yolanda called.

" Hello!" He greeted.

" What are you doing here? Didn't the doctor tell you to rest at home?"

" I don't want to stay at home. Staying at home alone makes me think crazy. So, I came to see you and the kids."

" Then please watch the kids for me. I'm going to take these apples to thank Simon for bringing the kids candy and books this morning."

" Yeah.. I'll do it." Zayn said as the gentleman that he is.
