I waited for months
For a little bit, just a little bit
Of anything from you
A decision
A choice
Maybe one day you would come
And feel the same for me too
Did nothing I did matter
Did us not matter
Did all the times we spent together not matter
Did I not matter
This pain I'll feel
I don't want to feel
But i need to feel
Why can't you feel
I'll relive the chats we had
I'll relive the time we spent
Forever in my head on repeat
How could I forget
Forget you and go on?
Forget you and just move on?
Forget you and imagine
like none of it ever happened
I wanted it to last
Why did you have to be a thing of the past
All these pages of poems
Written for no one but you
I waited months
I could've waited years
I could've waited forever
