Flamed Out (Zuko Love Story)

Chapter Five

The water below was freezing and not to mention she was going under.
"DO SOMETHING! SHE CANT SWIM! ESTELLA!" Zuko's frantic shouts woke her as she had just opened her eyes to see the Avatars glow white. His whole arrows began glowing as he quickly grabbed her and began twirling water around in the air as he reached the surface and threw her on deck before splashing the water everywhere on the whole crew including her. Once the water went away a soaking wet Zuko ran towards Estella who laid still on the ground.
"Oh God Estella, Estella are you okay?" He asks as he couldn't hear her breathing. "Estella no come on don't die on me! Not now!" He says before preforming CPR on her.
With all the distraction the Avatar and his crew left the scene and Katara looked back just as Estella began coughing up water as a smile reached her face. She was glad the girl was alright.
"Estella! Thank the star's your okay!" Zuko says her flesh against his skin.
She was shivering and shaking just as Iroh emerged from above deck after his nap.
"Huh? What happened Prince Zuko?"
"The Avatar. That's what happened," he growled just when Estella sneezed.
He looked down at her and stood up carrying her bridal style.
"She's getting sick. Can you warm her up some tea? And maybe have the cook get her some warm soup to eat?"
Iroh smiled seeing the concern he had for her.
"Right away prince Zuko,"

Zuko is used to seeing Estella half naked but knowing that he had to be the one to undress her wet clothes a blush couldn't help but make its way into his face as he dried her off with a towel and put on some new ones. Once she was dressed she was still shivering as she sneezed again before coughing and she was tucked under the blankets real tight. Zuko felt her forehead.
"Your burning up. Where is Uncle and that tea?"
"I-I'm s-sorry Z-Zuko,"
"For what?" He asked in a soft voice as she sneezed again.
"I-I'm the reason t-the Avatar got away," she coughed as she let out a ragged breath.
"Your health means more to me than the avatar. We'll catch him again," he says causing her to lightly smile.
"What a day. I haven't been sick in so long," she says before sneezing again.
Her nose was becoming red and stuffy.
"It's kind of what happens when your plummet into the ice cold water,"
She shivered again just as the door knocked.
"Come in!"
"Sorry if it took so long prince Zuko, but I did get what you need," the cook says coming in with a hot tray with hot tea as well.
"Thank you here Estella drink this it should help," he says helping her sit up as he brought the cup to her lips.
She finished the tea within a couple of seconds.
"That makes my throat feel better," she says still weak as she let out another cough.
"Here's some soup. It should help you as well,"
"Thank you ZuZu for everything,"
"Save your strength," he says before blowing on the soup before giving it to her.
Once finished he noticed how quickly Estella fell asleep as he lightly smiled.
"Umm... Prince Zuko?" A guard says knocking before coming in.
"Yes?"
"We need to stop and make repairs on our ship,"
"Alright head to the nearest port,"

Estella woke up to someone stroking her cheek. She still felt awful as she opened her eyes to see Zuko looking at her worriedly.
"We have to make repairs on the ship and it happens to be Zhao's port so I want no mention of the Avatar okay?"
Estella coughed and nodded her head.
"Do I have to go? I feel awful,"
"Yes I don't want you alone on the ship okay? I got you," he says turning around and bending down.
"What are you-"
"Climb on my back," he says with rolled eyes as Estella nodded and climbed on the Prince's back.
"I'm sorry if I get you sick," she says before sneezing.
"It's okay. Then you can take care of me," he says smirking as Estella lightly laughed even though it hurt.
With Estella on Zuko's back the three made there way out of the ship.
"Uncle, I want the repairs made as quickly as possible. I don't want to stay too long and risk losing his trail,"
"You mean the Avatar?" He asked just as Estella sneezed. "How are you by the way Estella?"
"Don't mention his name on these docks! Once word gets out that he's alive every firebender will be out looking for him and I don't want anyone getting in the way, this is the only chance for us to go home,"
"I'm doing alright Uncle. At least I'm not dying,"
"I'll give you some herbal tea when we get back. It should knock that cold right out,"
"Estella, Zuko and Iroh. How nice of you to drop by, I couldn't help but overhear you're conversation. Getting in the way of what?" Zhao says walking up to them.
"Getting in the way of making Estella feel better. She has a really bad cold, with a fever," Zuko says in a rushed voice.
"Is she now? Do tell how it happened?" Zhao asks while looking directly at Estella.
