Prologue

I successfully unlocked the buckle of my seatbelt, the reason why I got my best friend's attention. I bit my lower lip when I heard Charm's alarming voice beside me.

"Where do you think you're going Ejzhaori?" Charm asked in an alarm tone.

I sighed heavily as I bore my tired eyes on her. "Please?" I pleaded in a small voice.

She groaned in frustration. Siguro'y napapagod na kakabantay at kapipigil sa akin. But I can't stop now. I don't want to stop. I badly want to see Chandler. I want to support him. Kahit na kaligtasan ko pa ang kapalit nito.

"Ejzh naman! Please, mag stay ka muna rito. Ako ang malalagot kay Chandler kapag hinayaan kita!"

I shook my head to assure her that it's fine. "Don't worry, I got you."

"Kulit mo! What if mapahamak ka riyan? Concert 'to ng Pentacost, baka nakakalimutan mo? Mainit na nga ang mga mata sa'yo ng mga fans, gagatungan mo pa?"

My eyes watered by my tears as I looked away. God, why am I so emotional? I wanted to cry out of frustration.

Why does it have to be so hard to support him now? Hindi naman ganito noon! Fuck those rules! Fuck those toxic fans!

The band is becoming more famous now. Mabilis ang pag angat nila kaya naman ganoon din kabilis ang paglaki ng mga sumusuporta. But some fans were really aggressive and below the belt! They're trying to harm and hurt others, especially me, knowing that I am Chandler's girlfriend! I'm starting to think that they're being unreasonable and just obviously obsessing with their idols!

I knew that I'm partly at fault too. In a relationship with someone is one of the highly forbidden rules of their agency. Pero heto kami, itinatago ang relasyon sa iba ngunit nabuking pa rin. We did our best to hide it... At first. Masyado nga lang naging impulsive ang mga decisions namin ni Chandler, kaya rin gumulo ng ganito.

I swallowed hard, trying to compose myself. "Mabilis lang ako. Let's say five or seven minutes." Isang kanta lang. Kahit isa lang ang maabutan at mapanood ko. I just really want to watch one of their biggest concert.

I heard Charm's loud sigh. "Fine. Wear this, and this one." She threw the ball cap and sunglasses to me.

Tumango ako at sinunod na lamang ang sinabi niya. I immediately went outside the van. I roamed my eyes around the venue, kaunti na lang ang mga tao na nandoon. They're now probably inside the venue because I can almost hear the cheers of some fans from where I am standing.

Naging alerto ako sa bawat paghakbang papasok. Hindi ko alam kung makikilala ako ng mga fans na mapapadaan, pero sana ay hindi. I was about to enter at the entrance, when the bouncer suddenly appeared in front of me.

"Ticket?" Inilahad niya ang kamay.

Stupid Ejzh! I don't have any tickets with me. Chandler and their other members didn't lend me some, because of the issues.

"U-uhm.. .Sisilip lang po, mabilis lang ako kuya. Please?" pakiusap ko.

I knew that it's too impossible for him to let me in, but I still want to give it a try.

Agad siyang umiling at parang natatawa pa. "Mukha ka namang mayaman Miss, tapos wala ka naman pa lang ticket..."

I bit my lower lip as I tried to hid my face.

Nakakahiya!

"Kuya! Papasukin niyo na muna kami, late na!" sigawan ng mga babaeng fans sa likuran ko.

My heart pounded in nervousness. Napakurap kurap ako bago bahagyang tumabi. Nagtulakan naman ang halos sampung babae na nandoon, para mauna na sa akin, but the other two girls stopped right beside me.

Please no! Bawal nila akong makita. Bawal nila akong mapansin. Bawal nila akong mahalata. Please, I don't want to ruin Pentacost's concert.

"Wait.. You look familiar girl."

I squeeze my eyes, still trying to avoid their gazes.

"O-oh! S-she's Chandler's pathetic girlfriend!" sigaw ng isa kaya't mabilis kong narinig ang singhapan ng ibang kadarating lang. Pati ang mga kaninang kakaalis lang ay nagsibalikan para lang kumpirmahin kung totoo nga!

"Ang kapal ng mukha nitong babaeng 'to na pumunta rito!"

"You will ruin their dreams!"

"You're just a pest in their dreams! Break-an mo na siya!"

"Chandler is not serious with you girl, dahil kung seryoso 'yon sa'yo bakit kaming mga fans ang mas pinipili niya kaysa sa'yo?"

"Make her leave!"

My tears started to pooled down my face. My heart is aching so bad as I listened to their rants. Hindi ko iyon magawang ialis sa isip ko. Kahit anong pag-iisip ko ng magandang bagay, hindi nito maalis ang mga sinabi nilang naka pagpasira ng katinuan ko.

"O-ouch!" I winced in pain, when I felt their long sharp nails harshly glided on my arms. I also felt someone pulling my hair.

Panay lamang ang sigaw at mahihinang hikbi ko habang dinadama ang samut saring pananakit galing sa mga taong nag mamahal sa mahal ko. Hindi ko nga alam kung ilang mga kamay ang nanakit sa akin ngayon. Basta ang alam ko lang, masakit.

I cried and groaned in pain. My eyes were blurry, and my clothes are now full of stains and dirts from the ground.

Napahiga na ako, ngunit hindi pa rin sila tumitigil. Ni hindi rin sila pinahihinto man lang o isinasaway. Nabingi na ako sa mga sigawan at masasakit na salita na sinasabi nila sa akin. My body felt nub as well as my heart.

"Ejzhaori!"

Kusa na lang na kumurba sa tipid na ngiti ang labi ko nang marinig ang boses ng kaibigan. Someone will finally save me. Wala na akong naintindihan at naramdaman, basta'y nagising na lang ako na nasa isang sasakyan na.

"Ejzh! Wake up! Shit!"

Natatarantang mukha ni Charm ang sumalubong sa akin. Siya ang nagda-drive at parang natatakot na, hindi alam kung anong gagawin at hahawakan. Basta na lang na nagpapadyak sa break ng sasakyan.

"W-what's happening?!" natatarantang usal ko.

Charm looked at me worriedly. "B-break... Walang break! Fuck!"

"W-what?!"

She was panting heavily as she tried to stop our car. Ako nama'y nagsisimula na ring kabahan. Paano nangyari iyon? Kabibili pa lamang namin ng bagong sasakyan dahil nga nakilala ng mga fans ng Pentacost ang naunang sasakyan namin!

Nanlamig ang katawan ko sa naisip. What if... They learned about our new car? Kanina ay baka nakita nila 'yon! Hindi na ako magtataka kung sila nga ang may gawa nito, pero hindi ko pa rin maiwasang magalit dahil talaga ba na aabot sila sa ganitong punto?!

"Charm!"

"Oh my god!"

My eyes widened while looking at the road. I suddenly saw a freaking huge tree in front!

"Ah!"

Before we bumped into the tree, I immediately pulled Charm with me, and let my body covered hers.

We both screamed in pain when our car hit on the tree. I felt nauseous and dizzy. My head was literally pounding and aching in so much pain as well as my whole body.

I tried to open my eyes, and I saw our own blood are now scattered around the car.

That's the only thing that I remember, before everything went black.
